Hello everyone!!! I logged on yesterday and the day before and well that is as far as I got. Sorry for not updating my journal and getting to everyone elses. Thanks for stopping by.....totally appreicated!

So these last few days have been good. I didn't work out on the 17th because of my headache. OMG it was bad. I woke up with that same headach on the 18th and it didn't go away until after dinner. So I didn't work out on the 18th either. Well I guess I did work out, I did 40 minutes of fast walking each day, but no BL workout. I was a little bummed about that! BUt that is okay...I did it yesterday and I am back on track!

As far as the BL DVD, let me tell you, Bob knows how to work you!!!! There are four different work outs, low cardio, strength and training, high cardio and then boot camp. They say that you sould do this for six weeks, alernating work outs 1 (low cardio) and 3 (strength and training) the first week. Then week 2, alternate workouts 2 (high cardio) and 4 (boot camp) WHew!!!! I thought workout 1 was tough, I had something coming to me when it came to work out 2! I made it through it and it was great!!! Bob is so funny and then he has some of the cast from season one and two to help you out. The boot camp, wow is all I can say!!! He keeps you moving. I really like this DVD because it's real people and not some fake skinny person telling you, you can do this, it's not hard. You are struggling and so are the people on the DVD. It's just a much better DVD then anything that I have done before. As far as the hand and foot movement, I would say yea there is some. I had a hard time at first because I have two left feet, but as Bob says if you get confused or need to stop go back to the starting position. I would recommend this DVD to anyone

Wednesday:
B @ 5:15 1/2 cup cereal with 1/2 cup milk
S @ 8:30 1/2 cup ff cottage cheese with 1 pickle
L @ 11:30 reduced fat peanut butter and jelly on wheat bread with whole grain goldfish
S @ 2:45 1 granola bar
D @ 6:00 grilled cheese on wheat with soup
Water was good, 96 oz...almost there, just a few short! I still had my headache, so I didn't work out with Bob. Just did 40 minutes fast walking instead.

Thursday:
B @ 5:30 1/2 cup cereal with 1/2 cup milk
S @ 8:45 1 cup yogurt
L @ 12:15 HC chicken alfredo with corn
S @ 2:30 quaker breakfast cookie
D @ 6:00 sausage and scrambled eggs
Water again was good, but I didn't make 100, I was short again - 96oz
Exercise was 40 minutes fast walking. I was late getting home from work and then had to cook dinner. Then of course I could not miss Survivor or Dallas Swat!

Your eating looks great! :cheer2: And that is wonderful that you found a DVD that you love. It makes it so much easier to stick to it! I have it and am embarrassed to admit I have only used it once... :rolleyes1 I usually just end up going to the gym or doing my Pilates DVD.

Hi Jamie, your eating and exercise look great. 40 minutes of walking is still a workout! If that is slacking off then I am in trouble! I am glad your headache is gone, I get those too and it really takes it out of you. Have a great weekend and keep up the good work!

Well were should I start??? My weekend was good, exercise and food wise, well that was not good at all! I am not even going to post what I ate, it would take too much time!!! Let's just say that it was bad. Not one of my finer moments! Didn't work out at all either. Just didn't want to! I know that sounds bad, but I just didn't. But today is a new day and this is a new week!!!

Didn't really so much this weekend, it was cold here. We had snow on Friday night and then it didn't warm up much, only to like 40 on both days. DH and I were downstairs cleaning up a few things and Baxter decided to come down. Haley stood at the top of the stairs and cryed so I went up to get her. She then decided after being downstairs for a while that she was ready to go back up, and started to go. Then she decided to come back down. Don't really know what happened, but she did something and ended up falling down about 4 stairs, 4 wood stairs. She hit her head when she landed at the bottm, skinned her knee. Oh it was bad. I looked back and I could not react fast enough, but it was still to slow. She had hit the ground before I could get to her. Poor thing. I think she will be okay, but she sure what shaken up. So was mom!!! After that she layed on the couch and rested. She needed it After about 3 hours she was ready to get up and play. She was fine this morning as well. Just scared her to death.

I have completed a few more days of my trip report. Here is the link for anyone that is interested. I may go back in and add some photos. I just have to figure out how to do that. I have a photobucket account, so that is a step in the right direction.

This weekend was rough for a lot of us it seems! But we all survived and will get back on track today! Sorry to hear about the furbaby falling down the stairs! Sounds like she is OK, which is great news.

You have the right attitude about putting the weekend behind you, way to go! :thumbsup2

40 minutes of fast walking is still good exercise. You have a great "can do" approach to WISH. Glad the furbaby is ok, scary to see the fall!

Jamie, I think it was something in the air last weekend, many of us kind of crashed and burned! And it was cold here, just a good weekend to be inside, uh eating ya know? Hope Haley is all better, wooden stairs can be painful sometimes! Amen to a new week, I am right there with you (except I got a late start, hope your MOnday was better than mine :rolleyes: ). Can't wait to read more of your trip report!
 
So sorry to hear about Haley's spill. I'm glad she's okay (and mom too!). I hear you on the bad food choices, but you seem to have the right attitude. No need for us to dwell, and just look forward. Those dvd's you're watching just sound great. I must remember to look into them! Have a great week!!
 
Well good Monday morning everyone. This last week has been well........busy as heck. I logged on a few times and then something happened and I didn't get any farther. I was so busy at work that I didn't get home until after 7pm most nights and then I had to cook dinner for DH and I and then I was just too tired to do anything else. Then I started all over again the next morning!!!

Food has been good this week. I have stayed on track and everything was good. Not too much exercise as I was too busy to even sleep! I did get my 40 minutes of fast walking in though! So that is good. I did have some popcorn yesterday, not sure what I was doing, but I was craving it so I made some. It was not all that good, but it took the craving away!

Thanks everyone for asking about Haley, she is doing good!!! She refuses to even look at the steps now when I go down them. Don't blame her though. She was pretty much all better the following day, but I think she still remembers falling. Baxter on the other hand, he would love to follow me to the basement, but when he does that Haley wants to come too. So I close the door behind me when I go down from now on. It's just better that way!

I did make my October challenage, just barely, but I did it! I had 1020 for the month of October. I am going to sign up for November's challenge too and I am going to be better at recording my times. I don't think things will get crazy like they did last month.

Well I am off to other journals for now. I need to get caught up!

Hi Jamie, I am glad Haley is doing well! And it sounds like you are too. You are doing so well with your food. And that is very smart to make the popcorn and get the craving satisfied in a manageable way as opposed to a binge type way! Very hard to do for some of us ;) . I know you are so busy, hope things slow down a bit and that this is another great week for you!
 
Congrats on making the October exercise goal! I didn't participate in that month's challenge, and I found that I really missed the added motivation. Good job on the eating! :thumbsup2 Glad to know Haley is feeling better. Hope you're having a great week so far!
