Good Morning,

Well things are going really smoothly......I got up and did my work out again yesterday......Infact I was up before the alarm went off. That was really nice. It didn't wake my DH up or anything. I know that he appreciates that. I get up at 4:00am to work out and he does not have to get up until 5:15 to 5:30. Even though he does not say anything, I know that he hates it when the alarm goes off and he is awake at 4 with me. Yesterday he got to sleep till the time he was suppose to!!!

Not sure if I journaled it or not, but I went to the doctor back in December and I am healthy, but she told me that I need to start taking some type of multivitiman. So I got DH on board and we are both now taking mulitvitiamins. OMGoodness, I feel really well. It feels like I have some much more energy...I can't believe it. I stated out only taking 1 pill every other day, and then I bumped it up to everyday. My doctor told me that I could get constipated if I took one every day (sorry if that was TMI) and I didn't want that to happen. It didn't.....

Wednesday

I'm glad to hear your Dr visit went OK. Was she happy with your weight loss? I have taken vitamins for years. I don't notice any change from taking them, but I definitely notice a change if I don't!

Great job getting up so early and getting that workout in. I thought I had to get up early at 5:15. What time do you go to bed? I'd have to be in bed by 7:30pm...

I am so glad that it worked out at work and that you can tell the employees about how they are doing. You are doing an excellent job of working out and reaching your goals. :thumbsup2

I am so happy for you that you are doing so well and you are so disciplined. I am very impressed that you have the same struggles as I do when you walk into your house after work. And you have put such great strategies into place of having the right foods around, not having junk around, watching tv instead of eating, etc. Thank you so much for inspiring me!
BTW, I took the liberty of updating your 100 day cheat-free challenge number. By my count and reading how well you are doing in your journal, it looks like you are solidly done 17 days! :cheer2: I hope you don't mind that I did that. Check it out when you get a chance.

Keep up the great work. I thought getting up at 5:15 to go to the gym was bad. I know I couldn't get up at 4. What time do you go to sleep? Are you getting enough sleep? UGH!?

Hi All,

Wow today has been busy busy!!!! I didn't have much time to do much of anything but work!!!! I still have a team member that is out, he has the flu, and because of that, I am really busy!!! So I am going to try and get to journals tonight....if not please know that I am thinking of each of you!

Well yesterday was really good. I so didn't want to get out of bed. It was so cold here last night and my bed was so warm!!!! But I knew that I woudl regret not getting up, so I did!!!! I got in 30 minutes. Not as many as I would have liked, but at least it was something!

Thursday

D @ 7:00 1 1/2 slices of cheese pizza. We bought the cheesy bites pizza from Pizza Hut and OMgoodness....that is good. Very filling though. Usually my Dh can eat like 4-6 pieces of pizza and he could only get down 2. Not all that healthy, but it was good.
Water intake was good....I met my goal again!!! Yippie!!!! :banana: :banana:

Cam & Amy, I usually try and go to bed anytime between 8-9pm. I have noticed that if I can get to bed by 8:30 or I feel really good. Any time after that I don't feel all that great! But it works.....I would rather get up early than sleep in to be honest. I can't really sleep in on the weekends either. I am usually up at 6 am or so! Crazy I know!

That's great that you can go to sleep so early! My kids go to bed at 8:15 and I usually don't wind down until about 9:30-10pm... I need some "me" time every evening!

You are doing great drinking all your water and working out even when you don't feel like it.

Wow...what a weekend!

Good Monday Morning,

Well this weekend was good but very busy! We didn't really go out or anything, just busy at home. I know I posted this a while ago, but my DH has a friend that lives in Dallas and her husband just got out of the military. He was offered a job here in Denver, so they are moving. Well my DH talked to her this weekend and her husband is already here and she is still in Dallas with the kids. She will be on her way out here the end of this month. My DH offered her a place to stay if they needed it. So I was busy trying to clean things up so that I could put a bed in place if I needed to. Plus doing all my other household chores that I do on the weekends! We were going to try and get our taxes done this weekend and well that didn't happen!

I did very well eating...although I am not really sure what was wrong with my on Saturday. I just was not hungry....I ate breakfast, and lunch but when it came time for dinner, I just was not hungry. I ate a little bit of Ramon but that was it. Water was really good....I met my goal each day. Including Friday!

I think when I go to the store I am going to get some turkey burgers and try them. I have been wanting to for a while, I just have not done anything about it. I think I will this time.

Well I am off, I am going to try and get to journals before my day really starts. If not, I will at lunch.

I wish I had the problem of not being hungry at dinnertime! :rolleyes: I love turkey burgers. In fact, I use ground turkey for everything - meatloaf, tacos, etc. I can't tell you the last time I bought ground beef!

I hope you are able to get to the store soon! It is so much easier to eat healthy when you have the kitchen stocked with all the right stuff!

Hopefully your week will be a little less hectic at work... :wizard:

Well yesterday was busy busy!!! My boss is out, she went to the Super Bowl so that made things busier here for me!!!! However she is back today and that means things should be better. I didn't really have time to get to journals yesterday, but know that I was thinking of everyone. I will try and get to them today at lunch...

So DH wants to get the taxes done today, so I am going to do that when I get off work. I am leaving early so that I can go get it started. He said that he can't leave early, but he will be there to sign....so we will see!!! I hope that I don't have to wait to long at H&R Block....they aren't taking appointments yet, and the girl that we go to will be there from 5-9. I was thinking that if I got there a little before 5 that I should not have to wait too long. I hope that is the case. We really want to get them done, but I don't want to have to wait 4 hours to do it. We will see. I like to get them done early just in case there are any surprises. A few years ago we had to pay and that just sucked. So I want to know early!

Outside of being busy yesterday, everything went well. Eating was alright...could have been better, but I am not going to dwell on it today. Today is a new day and will only get better. Water in take was great. I managed 120 oz yesterday so that was really good. Got up and worked out....boy it was hard!

Monday:

S @ 7:00 popcorn....I don't even want to know how much of this I had. DH wanted popcorn but knew that he would not be able to eat it all, so we popped it and put it in a bowl and both eat it. It was gone.....I knew as I was eating this I really shouldn't be, but it was sooooo good I didn't want to stop....and I didn't.

Popcorn isn't that bad for you! It is a good source of fiber, even though the microwave ones can be high in fat. At least you didn't polish off a pint of ice cream or something! :rotfl:

Good luck with your taxes. I always do mine on TurboTax. DH used to have his done by an accountant and I talked him into TurboTax this year. This was the first year we were married, but TurboTax walks you right through it and we filed electronically last night. I'm so glad to have that done!

Well today has been so crazy I can't even see straight. I still have not gotten to journals....I will I promise. I have another employee out sick so my life is busier!!!!

Yesterday was a really good day. Still have not gone to the grocery store.....I really need to go. It is slim pickins at the house for dinner! I have no idea what I am going to do tonight for dinner. Maybe tacos.....we will have to see.

Water was really good again yesterday. Made my goal!!!!! I am getting used to drinking 100 oz or more of water.

So I am having some issues with a co-worker....she thinks that I am trying to get her in trouble and I am not. Sometimes I just hate working with women....they can be so catty. And that is what this is. It is just ridulous. She reports to someone else, and rather than me reprimanding her, I talked to her supervisor, told her the situation and let her handle it how she wants to. Well that snowballed from there. I think though this person is mad at me because she thinks I "told" on her the other day. How high school does that sound??? We were in a meeting and she was dozing off. There were other people there that must have said something, because I didn't say a word. But I think she thought it was me, so she is mad. Gosh the more I type the more this sounds like high school.....I just don't understand. Oh well....nothing I can. I still treat her kindly and that is all that matters.

We did go and get the taxes done last night, pretty happy with the results.......but also glad that they are done! We don't mind doing them ourselves, but we like the fact that H&R Block has that "piece of mind" so if they do something wrong they take care of everything. It is nice. We have been doing there for 5 years and they have done a great job each year...I am sure that we will continue to go back! Just last they are done...I hate the beginning of the year!

Well I am going to cut this short today, I have to get back to work....almost quittin time!!!

That business with your co-worker is a little juvenile... :rolleyes: That is one reason I am glad I work with 95% men! That and I can pretty much wear whatever I want and if it is not the latest and greatest high fashion they don't know and don't care...

Get to the store and buy some healthy food! That is great that you are trying to incorporate more veggies into your diet. You will learn to love them!

Congratulations on getting your taxes done! Sometimes I wish my DH wasn't self- employed so we wouldn't have to keep track of everything. I remember the good old days when I could take our W-2s and do the taxes myself. To do them myself now would be a nightmare. :scared:

So I found out there is a week long conference at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort the second week of May. I so want to go.....Not sure how much Disney I can get it, probably not much because of the conference, but I do know that the people attending the conference get to go to Epcot for one night. They get to see Illuminations and do some dancing. Epcot is included in the price of the conference. The cost of just the conference is $1295.00....then I would have to get airfare.....I just can't convince my boss that I should go. I have until April to get it paid for, so that means that I have a little time to gather all my thoughts and such and present it to my boss and the VP over us. Hopefully......if not, oh well I guess!!!!

Well I am a little behind with being out all day yesterday so I have to get going.

Good Monday morning.

Wow what a weekend. DH and I were busy the whole time....I just wish that we could have a weekend and not do anything!!!!

We got an ad this weekend that Big 5 had a free weight set on sale. I have a bowflex, but I also wanted some free weights. So I talked DH in to going over there and looking at them. He thought it was a really good price, only if you get the bar with it. I tried telling him that we did but he just didn't seem to believe me. When we got to the store we were questioning the clerk and he told us that we did get the bar. DUH!!! It only says so in the ad!!!! We walked out with the free weights and a curl bar. Something my DH has wanted for a while....not sure why we never bought one. So I am going to get on the weights tonight.....

Friday:
B @5:00 1/2 cup cereal with 1/2 cup milk
S @ 8:15 1 Nature Valley granola bar
L @ 12:00 - worked ordered BBQ so I had a few pieces of chicken and one serving of potatoe salad.....YUM!
S skipped, was still full from lunch!
D @ 5:30 1 1/2 hot dogs. I had to stop at the store to get something for dinner and this is what I got!
Water was great.....made my 100oz goal! Exercise was good....

Saturday:
B @ 6:15 2 waffles with little butter and 1/4 tbps syrup
S @ 8:30 1 cup yogurt
L @ 11:45 1 turkey and cheese sandwich
S skipped....forgot to bring something with me we were out and about

I went to the grocery store Friday night.....I was going to get some turkey burgers but I put them back. Had them in the cart and the put them back. I just was not sure if I was going to like them. I like other things turkey but I was scared that I would spend that money and not like them. I keep thinking about going back and getting them. I may just pick them up....I have to do go back, DH wants some chocolate and I forgot to get some shampoo and conditioner. We will see. I guess if I don't like them I can always bring them in to work...I know people that would like to eat them!

So my problem co-worker is gone, just vacation but it has been nice. I don't have to deal with any of her comments!!!!! She will be back tomorrow though. My boss is going to talk with her tomorrow when she comes in, so we will see what happens. I am not the only one that has issues with her. I am sure though that I will be in the dog house even more than I already am!!! Oh well such is life!!! I so wish that I worked with men....we have more women in our dept than we do men....I just enjoy working better with men. They don't really care!!!!

Amy - yeah 5 peices of bacon....I was a little hungry before I went to bed, but I pushed through it. It really didn't help that really didn't have any food!!! Well no food that I wanted to eat!!!

I better get back to work. Today looks like it is going to be much better, I am caught up from my conference, so that is nice. I will check in later,

Well the last two days have proved to be very busy! I just wish that I it would slow down. I know that it won't...but I can wish can't I???

I have been doing very well the last two days. I didn't get up and work out Monday. I was up way too late on Sunday, watching the Olympics. I went to bed at like 10:30 (when they ended) and I just could not get my butt up. Then DH parents came over Monday night and I didn't get my work out in like I wanted too either. They left a little after 7 but we still needed to eat dinner. So that didn't work out. Oh well one day won't kill me!

Monday:

S @ 8:15 1/2 cup ff cottage cheese with blueberries
L @ 12:00 1 bean burrito and 1 apple

Water was great again. I made my goal again. Since all I drink is water, (and milk in the mornings) this is getting easier. I have always drank water, but I could never make that 100 oz goal of mine...now I am!!!!

Tuesday:

S @ 8:30 1/2 cup ff cottage cheese - I avoided the donuts that work bought!!! Yippiee!!!!

Water was good again....100 oz. I could have done more but I didn't...no real reason as to why

Things have been going really well...I have not lost any weight, but I know I am doing something....I can feel it in my clothes. Maybe next week will be good to me. I weighted in this morning and the scale hadn't moved...although I usually weight in on Thursdays, I will do it tomorrow and see if there is any change. I hope so, if not such is life. I will work hard for next week.....I am about ready to fling the scale out the window....

You are right, missing one workout will not do any damage, and I know you are so dedicated that you will get right back on track! My scale is being stupid too - but if your clothes are fitting better, you are doing good!
