Why does anyone care if an older guy dates a younger woman? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this concept has been around for quite a while. Its the same thing with gay marriage IMO, why do people get so upset about who someone else marries or dates? I just don't get it.

My ex-BIL is 58 with a 19yo GF. I find is extremely sickening in both cases. And what it does to the children is beyond words. I find it very selfish to do to your kids. But, there's an old saying...No fool like an old fool.

Why does it matter to you what their ages are? She is an adult. How does it affect you? Why is it such a shock for a couple to date with a big age difference when they both are adults and know what they are getting?

Not really upset, just that no one believes that a girl like that would be attracted/ romantically interested in a guy his age.

She's interested in his $$$$$$ and he wants some arm candy. If that makes them happy, whatever.

But if he has any delisions that she is attracted to him, then he's an idiot

Its not impossible that she is attracted to his talent. Some women like men because of what they do, their talent, their personality etc., I'm not saying you are totally wrong, you may very well may be right, it may be just that, she's into him because of his $$$, but its not impossible there are other motives.

There are lots of talented people that date younger people because the younger people were into them due to their talent, ability, personality etc. Picasso, Chaplin, Hugh Hefner, ok that one was a joke

Um the talent comment is a long shot, but hey if it makes the old guys feel better about it.......plain and simple gold digger. It was that way then and that way now.

I once dated someone when I was much younger that was short. When the guys at work teased me about it I pointed out that he was a lot taller when he stood on his wallet.

Yes but how many other marriages are based on the fact that the guy has $$ but they may just be closer in age, yet no one makes a big deal out of that. It seems if the people are the same age, its OK that a big motivation was for $$$, but if one is much younger than the other it has to be about $$$, automatically. Not saying its not, but its just the way things are in life.

I think it's sad. I hate it when women allow themselves to be exploited. I'm sure that she is getting what she wants from him, but he is the one that holds the most power in the relationship.

Desperate young women are attracted to older men because of the resources they have to offer. If a vibrant 25 yr. old man was offering her the same resources, there is no way she'd give grandpa a second look.

Woods is dating someone far more than half his age. She is less than a third of his age. And yes George Clooney is good looking.
