James Woods' new girlfriend

Although I don't personally find James Woods attractive, there are a few men out there that are old enough to be my dad/grandfather that I am attracted to. As crazy as some (probably most) people might find it, if Harvey Keitel asked me out on a date, I'd say yes in a second (I'm 31 FWIW). There are some people out there that the age just doesn't matter, they just have something that intrigues me

I love Harvey Keitel, Christopher Walken, but I would love to be able to just hang out with them or whatever, but I don't think I would be physically attracted to them anymore.

That's what gets me, the physical attraction is just not there with someone who is what I would consider to be old. For me. Especially when I was 21. Not saying it's the same for everyone.

But yes, I would still date George Clooney if he asked me. 51 is not old!

I never understand this type of post on a message board. A discussion board. Who isn't practicing "live and let live" - no one is out protesting their relationship, I really bet no one even thinks about it until they read it on here. No, I don't really care who James Woods, or the old man down the street for that matter, is dating. Does not affect my life at all.

But when people discuss things, they have opinions. To have an opinion does not mean you are actively upset by something, but rather you are participating in a discussion. On a message board.

It's like people who need to point out they "couldn't care less and can't believe people are discussing it", but yet felt the need to post on a message board.

Sorry, but I hate that just because I think dating someone 40 years older than me is just something I would never do, that I just care too much, or can't live and let live.

I never said that people couldn't post their opinion or had to agree with me. MY opinion is that it's none of my business and that even includes commenting on their relationship. If others want to discuss it or ridicule or praise it or whatever, that is also not my business.

As for the Live and Let Live part of it I read that as saying that what people do is up to them and only them and then people move on. Some could see it as something else.

This is just my comment on the discussion.

I like James Woods. I think he's a great actor and I think he was attractive "in the day" ... but that day has long passed.

That being said, you'll have to add me to the "skivved out" crowd. Someone said it upthread ... I am uncomfortable with the fact that the girl is so young (only 2 years away from being a child herself) and that he is so old (social security age). Add that he just split with 26-year old ex-girlfriend Ashley Madison who he started dating when she was only 19 (!) shows that he likes 'em young. Very, very young. I know that May (in this case, March) - December romances work all the time, but he keeps on getting older and the girls all seem to stay the same age. I find it very disturbing.

Agree. When I first saw the photo I thought - she's in it for the money/fame and he's just shy of being pervy. I think the same of Hugh Hefner and the young women who date him. ICK. I don't understand how young beautiful girls get up close with (what I consider) elderly lecherous lips. (Not to mention .....). Blech.

I just think it is weird for someone who is age eligible for social security is dating someone who is not even age eligible to legally drink but whatever floats their boats I guess.

I would think that no matter who the people were and whether or not the older person is male for female.

Okay, I'll admit it. I used to have a huge crush on this guy when I was 17 and he was about 51. I tell you, I would have followed him to the ends of the earth if he would have so much as looked my way, LOL (It really wasn't so much about his looks as it was his voice, mannerisms, intelligence, acting ability, etc. All those things combined made him appear attractive to me, I guess). I was young and silly and had stars in my eyes, it's not totally out of the realm of possibility that this girl is the same...only she has the opportunity to act upon her infatuation. Not likely the case, but certainly possible.

FTR, I no longer find him attractive "in that way" and agree that his "day" has long passed. Guess I turned shallow in the past 14 years.
