The Plan
Boggy Creek Airboats, Gatorland, Crystal Palace for lunch, revisit Disney parks and finish at Pleasure Island.
The Reality
We didnt get to go on the airboats. We didnt know what time they opened and at this end of the holiday paying to go on the airboats and then Gatorland was too expensive. We drove out to Gatorland and right past the entrance, due to the roadworks we couldnt turn into the car park.
Last time we were at Gatorland we really enjoyed it. This time we found that most of the shows had been turned into silly tacky jokey things. After walking around and seeing a couple of shows we realized that the next show was in two hours. We had done everything else so didnt want to wait around to see it.
We headed back to the resort via a supermarket. We decided to buy some beer and ice cream to have later on in the evening. We placed the ice cream in our cool bag and went back to the room. I stopped at the ice machine and filled the cool bag with ice which we then stood in the bath. When we came back later on none of the ice had melted but the ice cream was liquid. Oh well it was a good plan.
As we had done all the Disney parks the day before we spent a relaxing afternoon at Typhoon Lagoon. We had bought a waterproof disposable camera in the supermarket for about $7 (Disney wanted over $20 for the same one) and got some good pictures in the snorkeling bit. We realised we still hadnt gone to leave our legacy at Epcot so after a brief stop at the hotel to shower and change we headed out to Epcot.
It didnt take to long to get our photographs taken so we stopped for a burger at Electric Umbrella and made good use of the toppings bar. We had already seen the fireworks earlier so headed back to the hotel to play air hockey and get a drink or two in the bar. As we walked past the bar we noticed I guy playing the piano so decided to stay and listen. He was really funny and we spent the rest of the night there. I cant believe we hadnt caught him earlier in the holiday.
