The Plan
Relaxed breakfast at hotel. Visit guest relations to make PS for the rest of the holiday. Spend the rest of the day in the two water parks drive to the supermarket and then Downtown Disney for an evening meal.
The reality
We had a bit of a lie in and then had breakfast after the early morning rush. We decided to make priority seatings for the Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic package on the 15/09/04 and Chef Mickey and OHana for later on in the holiday. It wasnt until we were getting ready to go to Blizzard Beach that I checked the time on the PS. Hollywood and Vine was booked for tonight instead of tomorrow. As the Fantasmic package has to be partially paid for upfront we had no choice but to go.
After riding all the slides and me braving summit plummet we entered the lazy river had a relaxing ride round. That is until a CM lifted a snake out. It was only about 3 inches long but I like snakes even less than spinning rides. We left soon after this and went off to find a supermarket. One thing we like about America is cheap Jelly Bellies so the search began to find a supermarket that stocked them. We had no luck today so settled for bagels and ready cooked bacon and small tubs of Ben and Jerrys.
We went onto MGM and managed to ride Rock n Rollercoaster a couple of times and decided we had time for one more before our PS at Hollywood and Vine. Well there was obviously some kind of problem as we didnt move for half an hour and then had to run to the restaurant to meet our PS.
Having stood outside the restaurant for ten minutes waiting for a seat we were shown in to an almost deserted restaurant. This wasnt the only time we had to wait for a seat in an empty restaurant. After the meal we still had some time before fantasmic so went to the bar at 50s prime time for a couple of cocktails and enjoyed some time in adult company (sometimes there are just too many kids in Disney). We watched fantasmic and were lucky that it wasnt rained off we were thankful of the mistake on our PS. On our way back to the Disney transport we encountered our second snake of the day. A pygmy rattlesnake was on the pavement next to one of the bus stops it didnt look very alive but I didnt check it too closely.
