And of course another dumb question from me. If you use the ME can you pick up your bags and take them on the bus with you so they wonnt go MIA? I would feel better if they were with us but I dont see where this is allowed. Just curious.

...yes, you can get your baggage yourself - do tht first before heading to the WDW podium...also, if you decide to do this DON'T put those yellow ME tags on them, because your bags won't be at the carousel then....

Well I must admit; I have been lurking on this thread for a long time and finally figured I would say "hello."

My family (which is me, DH, DD-13 & DS-10) will be visiting WDW for our very first time in 18 days.

We will be staying at AKL (we're so excited!) and I have found so much useful information here. If anyone has any hints or advice that would make our first trip to the World even more magical please feel free to give it!

Hi guys, I just came back from a cruise/stay in the UK - and boy it makes staying at disney look like a deal - everything was soooo expensive over there I'll never think twice about Disney rates/prices again.

Spare a thought for us poor souls who have to put up with this everyday!!!!!!

...I just got back form the 'ellen' taping a little while ago....it was sooo awesome but SOOOO exhausting!! They taped TWO shows - the one on Sept 4 features Justin Timberlake and the one on Sept 5 has Beyonce as her guest (it's Beyonce' 25th B-day!)

...excuse my 'frizzies' - we had to stand for over 5 hours and it rained for 15 minutes and drizzled for about an hour.....[I'm in the bright pink Tink shirt]

I went on a vacation to Sweden 2 weeks ago and the prices were expensive
there to.

Kimmar thanks for the info about ME.

England is crazy expensive. We went to McDonalds and it was over 20 dollars for 2 of us. I couldnt see how people could pay this much every day.

Are they still serving the casava cake at Boma I didnt see it when we were there in July??? Just wondering if it was a seasonal thing or we went on the off menu night.

Hi everybody over here at the unofficial AKL thread!

We at AKL for 5 nights in November (first time).
We’re staying on the concierge level and doing both of the safaris offered.

Any advice for a AKL newbie?
Any cool little "thingy" we might overlook?

Just thought i would join in on this thread as we have just booked for 14 nights at AKL september 07 (with free dining :jump. We only have a standard view booked but I'm fine with this as being at the resort for 14 nights will give us plenty chance to view the animals and enjoy what the resort has to offer

I'm sure i'll have loads of questions in the coming year but for now i am going to try and read through the whole thread (i'm only on pg 15 so far...lol)
