Very uneeded stress, I am just devestated... really I am.

Everything I planned and booked revolved around them - because it's their first trip. So many things I chose to do, was for their benefit so they could have all the pixie dust possible.

I am so upset I can't imagine going without them tomorrow - I will be crying my eyes out, we booked this 5 months ago.

Yes, she still doesn't know! she thinks we are going to a christmas party at a local radio station in the morning. She is excited about that... little does she know

Thanks. Me and the Fiancee are having a hell of a time choosing our Hotel for our Honeymoon next November. Ugh! We love AKL, we stayed there our first (and only time) back in July. We want to stay there again because we liked it so much... but we also wanna stay at the GF. Shoot!

Suites, yes - Honeymoon Suite, not sure. Just thought you should be aware though that AKL will likely be having lots of DVC construction/renovation during the time you plan to honeymoon. That might make GF the better choice for 2007; save AKL for an Anniversary trip (?)!!

Do the GF IMHO. Something totally different and probably not a resort you would frequent again for a non wedding trip. Make the HM special.

ROYAL ASSANTE SUITE - WOW. I would spend my honeymoon night here! Check out all suites around DisneyWorld (for some kooky reason, I can't put a website in here). In any event, do a search on Images for Royal Assante Suite at Yahoo. It'll upload plenty of pics and you can get right into the website. Rates are around $2k per night, depending on time of year...more in the more popular seasons. Perhaps if you offer to do your own cleaning on your way out, they'll cut you a deal! Only kidding! Seriously, it's a gorgeous suite. This is where the celebs (like yourselves) often stay when in town, so I am told.

Ick the contruction, I didn't think about that. We are leaning towards the GF, and always have been. Just something keeps pulling is back to the AKL. Not only did we just really have a great time there, it's a good deal cheaper. Not that that is the deciding factor.

The Grand Flordian is the one we keep going back to wanting the most. For one thing we really want to try a Monorail resort this time for the great conviencance. Of course we are going during a MUCH slower time of year than our last time so we are gonna have oodles of more time.

Our latest tentative plan is the GF Honeymoon suite for 2 nights. Then we are going on a Cruise. Then we come back for WDW, we were going to stay in a regular GF room, or possibly a MK View room. They worth the extra..?

Don't sweat the construction...Disney will probably make sure you are unaware of all the noise and dust. The construction in the main section is going on, I believe, as we speak. Some of the existing 6th floor rooms are being converted to DVC. The new wing will be a separate entrance, according to the artists' rendition. I doubt very much you will even know it's happening (can you tell I am a big AKL freak?) I hear through the grapevine GF walls are thin (a reliable source). I think any suite is worth the money, especially if it's for the honeymoon! I can't think of a better excuse to upgrade! My dream is to book the RODisney suite on the Disney Magic, even for a three-day cruise!

Cass, I agree that the situation sounds horrible. I've lost track of how many hours I've spent planning so that our first time will be memorable, so I can imagine how heartbroken you all will be if things don't work out. I too am sending some pixie dust your way.
