Interesting... On the Disney site under CL amenities they no longer list turn down arrive ( I'm sure it was there when we booked!) will have to request when we arrive! What a shame.

I noticed that the Poly and GF still have nightly turndown in the description, so I hope they are still doing it. With 5 in the room, we stagger showers, some in morning, some after lunch. It is nice to come back at night to a fresh room again.
 

Just back to the room and it is dirty. We don't have time for them to clean now because we have to shower and get ready for dinner. They say they'll be back in an hour to clean it. I mentioned to the CL CM about the turn down and he said "due to operational changes we don't offer turn down service anymore". I don't know what is going on but I'm getting annoyed with the whole situation. At this point I just hope they clean our room today.

That is annoying and the same thing happened to us at BWI CL.

If it wasn't for the turn down service we had at CR CL, I never would have had enough towels. The very first day I requested X amount of towels each day, and they were never delivered. Always had to ask the turn down person.

I just stayed in january at boardwalk club how turned down service,welcome chocolates, balloons and b-day gift, now you need to talk to a manager thats going to listen and give you amenities that you should receive for that kind of money!! Heck, your repeat business for them; its disgraceful how that cm was asinine.
 
I don't know what's going on, it shouldn't be this difficult. Someone came by and brought us a pile of toothbrushes and mouthwash which I feel was a smack in the face at this point. They just don't get it.

When we checked in the CM said she saw it was my birthday (noted on reservation). At the end of the process she asked if there was anything else I needed and I asked for the button myself.

It should be the same service across all Disney resorts for every single guest. Once Disney wises up and hires me as the Director of Club Level Continuity then I'll make sure this doesn't keep happening. ;) LOL
 
Well done for speaking up. I never expect more than I've paid for but when we are all paying huge amounts to stay CL then the little touches are so important. So far in all of our CL stays we've not been disappointed although we have encountered the odd not so helpful CM. Fortunately we've met far more helpful and enthusiastic CMs along the way. I hope that the issues get resolved and you have a fabulous trip.
 
They have a nerve to do a survey on imposing a resort fee!! like heck i'd pay for that>:(! country inn suites here we come:D
 
Yum! Your lunch at Sunshine Seasons looks great! SS is one of our favorite QS on property.

I'm sorry you're having troubles at your resort. Hopefully they'll get their act together soon.
 
I am sorry this trip is not going so well. We are staying there in September for my daughter's 18th birthday. Hope our trip runs smoother. I hope it gets better for you and your family.

I hope your in post in time for our trip in Oct! I hate having to ask for things that were included when we booked!
