I am going to AKV for 3 days in the middle ofMarch before a cruise on the Wonder. I remember reading that the pool was being renovated. Is it open now?? Sure hope so

It was only closed til 1/29/10. You should be fine!!!

The Uzima Pool was scheduled to re-open on Tuesday, February 16, 2010. There were reports that the pool was filled but didn't open due the to recent cold weather in the Orlando area.

yup...that would be the bigger issue with the pools! Too cold to use them

"The Animal Kingdom Lodge pool area refurbishment completion date has been moved back to February 10 2010, with a reopening on February 11 2010. It was previously expected to reopen on February 1 2010".

Thank you for all your quick responses. I guess i just have to hope it warms up for march 12th and we will be all set. The weather is getting harder and harder to predict.

Your from Mass its never too cold in florida for us to use the pools....
