Jambo/Kidani "Which Floor" Poll

If in a savanna view, do you prefer upper floor or lower floor rooms/villas?

We prefer the 3rd floor in Jambo... great view of the animals and no need to take the elevator or stairs so it cuts down on the time it takes to get to/from the room to the buses.

I have only stayed on the 3rd floor, but I was really happy there. If given a choice, I would pick it again.

There are 26 rooms on the 5th floor of JH that are not DVC. These are along the Giraffe & Ostrich Trail where the DVC Value Rooms are located.

6th floor of JH is the DVC portion of concierge level and the concierge lounge. The regular hotel has concierge level rooms on the 4th floor.

Well your poll doesn't make sense.

6th floor = DVC club level
5th floor = DVC non-club level
4th floor = non-DVC club level
Lower floors = non-DVC non-club level

There are some exceptions, but in general you can't just randomly choose a floor. It depends on what type of room you booked.

3rd floor was wonderful! Great view and easy access to the buses and main lobby. If I ever stay again, I would only do 3rd floor. It was so nice to just quickly walk to the room after a long day!

Kidani is all DVC so there is not the kind of split that there is at Jambo. We prefer to stay at Kidani when we are in anything other than a studio and always request 2nd floor, near lobby. That is bc we don't have a car at WDW. If you have a car, it is easy to park near your room bc almost all parking is under the building.

Thanks, good info. I could have mentioned that I'm a point renter, but it really doesn't matter - I just wanted to know what floors were best, I didn't care so much about how people got there.
