An Epcot day! I love those days, and the crowds seem to be non-existent for you all, which is great.
Spaceship Earth is a great first ride of the day. There's just something about the attraction that holds a special place in a lot of people hearts.

I laughed that Jeff wanted a picture of the palm tree. Living in FL, I forget that some people don't see the trees all the time like I do, so it amuses me when others get a kick out of them. They're kind of a blatant sign that you're in Florida.

We are very lucky to have our RESP's aren't we? My parents were diligent about putting money into it for Jasmine so she knows just how lucky she is that it's something she really doesn't need to worry about....but she does have to maintain a high average or she has to pay for her courses...I thought that was fair.

That's exactly what I told her! We were shopping yesterday and one of the sales associates was commenting on how gorgeous her bag was and she said that her boyfriend bought it for her for her birthday and she said I wish my husband would be that thoughtful

The crowds sure do make for a great day! It's such a relaxing atmosphere! We normally do SE on our way out, but we decided to switch things up

The foliage in Florida is so different that what we have that it reminds us every morning that we're not at home

I am still really bummed that we have no trip planned for next year! Although her tuition and books will be paid for by her RESP, she still needs to have spending money for her bus pass etc so she's trying to get as much money put away as possible, but believe me, she is trying to figure out a way for us to still go

I am so proud of my girl and I can't wait for you to meet her at our next Dis-meet...which we really need to get a date set for. I will send PM's to everyone later this week with a couple of dates and we'll see what we can get set up!!

Good morning everyone! I know I've been a terrible Diser but now that I am on vacation I am hoping to get a few up while I'm off!

This is the last of my holiday days for 2011 and I have to tell you that yesterday was my first day off for this stretch of holidays and it started off fantastically! First, I found out that when we were away in Florida in August the water company did an estimate on our usage and overcharged us so I am getting a cheque for $538.00! If that wasn't great enough, I went thru my jewellery box and picked out all my gold that I no longer wear or broken pieces and took it to see what it was worth! While we were waiting I asked Jasmine what she thought we would get and she guessed $250...I guessed $500! You can imagine my shock and surprise when it was worth $1240.00!! Had to head straight to the bank to deposit our windfall!!

From there we headed to the mall and I ended up buying a Coach purse!! My dad had given me money for my birthday so I used that toward my purchase. We were walking by and I couldn't get my mom out of my head and I saw this plaid/tartan bag that resembled one my mom used to use when I was a little girl....I just felt that it was meant to be!

Ok, now you're up to speed on our lives let's get on with this TR. I left off with us heading to WS and those of you that guessed Mexico were right on the money....you guys know me so well!!!

Along the way we saw that Duffy was out and we all decided we should stop for a visit! The girls excited to see him for the first time!

Jeff took this one of Jasmine and I ... isn't he just the cutest little thing!

Jeff and Jasmine approaching Mexico...Jeff was all "thumbs up" again thinking we were all stopping for margaritas until we once again had to remind him that the drinking age in the states is 21!

This is when Jeff and Jasmine said they would take the girls to do a KP mission .... so we could go and sit down in The Ditch to enjoy an hour or so of adult time....love those two kids! No need to stop here for one on the go!

We headed to Norway for the kids to get their Kimmunicator!

Fantastic place for lunch!! You must try it if you've never gone!!

Don't they look excited about their mission. At this point I was wondering who would be holding the device...my money was on Jeff!

You all know where the adults headed......a little piece of heaven right in Epcot!

My pineapple margarita and chips....both were super yummy!

Peg's blood orange margarita and I believe Geodoc had a lime one but for some reason I don't have a picture of his!

Me and my sis having a wonderful time just kicking back and enjoying some adult time! It was at this time that we decided we would just enjoy WS for the rest of the afternoon there would be no pool time today...we would just wander the Showcase! I am wearing the beautiful necklace that was in my gift basket from Tanz...it's the letter J and a small Mickey crystal head!!! It's beautiful!

Before we knew it the kids were back after their mission and they delivered this message to us "it's pouring"....great! Ok, let's do some shopping in Mexico! How cute is this picture...Jeff trying to be tough...too bad we know he's a softee!!

Jasmine ended up buying some jewellery in here and we all really enjoyed our time and ended up doing the boat ride too! By the time we left, the sun was shining again so we decided to head back to TT and use our FP's! Here's the kids on the ride!

My favorite part of the ride....I am a bit of a speed junkie!

Jasmine in a GMC Acadian...she thinks this should be our next vehicle....wonder who she thinks will be putting the gas in it LOL

They had to try these on before we left the TT store....faces only a mother could love!

We then headed back over to WS...the kids in China!

Jasmine was thirsty so she had heard good things about the drinks here so she decided to stop and got some kind of strawberry slushie drink that she loved!

While I was waiting for them, they were raising this up to get ready for Illuminations...first time in all our trips I had actually seen this! Jeff couldn't get over the details of everything in WS...he was beyond impressed!

Duffy's outfits....I was shocked that the girls didn't buy some of these!

I can understand Jeff and Jasmine's frustration about the drinking age, especially being from Manitoba (I'm from Ontario, so we're 19, but good old Quebec is just a bridge away!!). I think I was at least 21 when I started going again as an adult, so didn't face that issue, but still....

Speaking of, Peg's margarita looked ever so good. Will definitely be keeping that in mind when I head back (hopefully this winter)

I absolutely love seeing duffy out for character greetings both my mom and i wanted to meet him on our last trip because we thought the meeting area was cute.

That must be hard for jasmine and jeff that they can drink at home but not in the world. I'm excited because i turn 21 in may so this next trip in january will be my last one that i'm not 21 for. You and all the other DISers have made me want to try the grey goose slushie when i'm old enough (my mom has decided she is going to get a grey goose slushie on this trip so i can't wait to hear what she thinks of it).

Nice of jasmine and jeff to do the KP mission with the girls Do they enjoy the KP missions? I have been contemplating trying one for a while now and we have basically 4 planned epcot days this upcoming trip and i was just wondering if people above a certain age would still enjoy it?

I had never even heard of the tequila cave untill my last trip. My brother and his fiancee are going to disney for there honeymoon in december and this sounds like something they would love. do you have any recomendations for drinks for them 2 try? They both love trying exotic new drinks so they would enjoy trying just about anything between the 2 of them.

Love hearing about jeff's reaction to everything and seeing your pictures of all the little details of WS.

Love seeing the illuminations stuff go across the bridge. It usually is a hit or miss for us if we see the globe moving from under the bridge. If we do see it we pretty much always take a picture of it.

I just made a mental note to myself about that place in China. I normally like spending much time in china but after hearing some good things about the food there I'm sensing some more time spent there.

That bridge is a good thing isn't it. I spent some time in Ottawa so I know all about that bridge! It's not even that they drink a lot, but if we go for dinner we usually get a bottle of wine or have a cocktail with appetizers....it was hard for them to get used to!!

I tried hers and I actually liked it better than mine, but keep following along, the next visit I tried one that you would never guess....stay tuned!!! This winter..... will be keeping our fingers crossed for you!

You are so sweet to say that!! I have to say the young man that helped us was such a sweetie, just an honest to goodness nice young man. I told Jasmine if she wasn't dating, I would have asked him to take her out on a date Her response...."oh mother"
