Jambo CL when there is no CL?

Has anyone heard what is happening with Club level reservations now that Jambo has opened, but there isn't any club level? Are they giving you a point refund for lack of amenities, or ??? And when are you being contacted about this, if they are even doing that?

I have read people have been moved to other rooms at Kidani. I don’t see Disney bringing back CL for a long time, so if you have a room booked, I’d contact MS to get specific info.

I had a 1bedroom CL booked in October. I called a few times to get info, but understandably, MS did not have anything to offer. The “not knowing” was really weighing on me, so I decided to cancel and bank my points before my deadline. I do have another CL booked for March, so hoping everything is back to “normal” then.

I still have a Club stay for Sept and I don't know what to do. Offering me a regular DVC 1 bedroom for my club points is not deal at all. I am holding on for now hoping Club will open back up!

We have a 1BR booked at CL in Nov. I have read that Yacht Club was serving some club level when it re-opened. I'm guessing it might have some impact if Jiko and Boma open. At any rate, a 1BR at Kidani is not an equivalent. I have never had a decent stay at Kidani and have always found that the CM there are not pleasant or attentive at all. Hoping that it won't come to that, but...

If anyone hears anything or has good luck on a trip, be very interested to know

AKL has no planned reopen date. Club will not reopen until the hotel reopens, at a minimum. Similarly, it is highly unlikely Jiko or Boma reopen unless AKL reopens.

And, as stated: AKL is one of the deluxes without even a planned date to shift. No date.

I would be very surprised if Disney do a turnabout and reopen AKL anytime before year-end.
