So my Dad and I have a cruise planned that stops in Jamaica in August/September 2019.

I know we will probably try to do a excursion in Cozumel. as for Jamaica and I would love to go to Dunn's River Falls, but the excursion looks like it's for some one more into adventures.

Would you recommend it for someone who is chicken?

Just going for first time to Jamaica and I'd love to experience to the port a bit.

Nah, you can do it, you're young. I did it last year and it wasn't bad at all. My grandkids 9 & 7 did it without issue.
It was crowded, but we had a blast.

Glad to hear. I’m not adventurous though, that’s the problem

My adult daughter and I did the Dunns Falls excursion last October, I was concerned that it would be too much for me but it turned out to be fine- the guides have everyone go a few steps and then you stop, then move a few steps more and stop, etc.- so it wasn't like we were climbing non stop to the top, the guides were super helpful and were very cautious that everyone stayed safe

You always have the option to go and not climb the falls. They have stairs that run along side the falls and multiple spots where you can go in and enjoy the water.

Awesome to hear this I’m hoping I can get me courage up by August 2019 though

Dunn's River isn't bad at all.

I've been twice and if my out of shape rear end can get up there, just about anyone can.

I watched The Real Housewives of the OC last night, Mondays episode.
They were there climbing the falls, if you have OnDemand you can go watch it.
Of course, there was no else there but these ladies, expect it to be much more crowded.
We formed a big chain when we did and climbed slowly and together.
The blonde lady (Vicki) was very dramatic and falling and screaming, she overreacted to it completely.
Just wear good water shoes.

I saw that also, they also did the bobsled. I thought for sure Vickie would get hurt doing the falls!

Dunn Falls are very cool. I also like the Green Grotto caves but it can get pretty warm in the cave.
