My husband and I are taking the 7 night Caribbean cruise next week and we have reservations for Palo for our anniversary. I have searched the forum for whether or not my husband needs to wear a jacket for dinner on this cruise, at Palo or any other dinner. I've read that he does - and that he does not. Just wondering if anyone who has cruised recently, maybe even the 7 night Caribbean cruise, can give a definitive answer to the question....jacket or no jacket. Thanks fellow cruisers!
From everything I've read he does not have to wear a jacket, but a dress shirt. The other nights he does not need to wear even a dress shirt, but a nice polo or a Tommy Bahama kind of casual shirt-shirts with collars, I guess I'm trying to say!

We ate at Palo's on our recent 4-night Dream cruise and jackets were NOT required since there were at least three men within eyesight of our table who didn't wear one. As I enjoy dressing up for a nice dinner, I not only had a jacket but a tie, as well. However, they were letting patrons in who had neither.
