Jack and Sally?

Is there a Photpass photographer over with Jack and Sally during the day or only during the Halloween Party? Are there better times than others to catch them both together during the day? During our visit they take a break at 11:15 and come back at 12:15. Has there been quite a line for them at 12:15 when they come back out? Thanks in advance!

I think I recall seeing a PP photographer with them (both during the day and during MHP), but I'm not 100% sure. I don't know if there is really a better time or not, because whenever I walked by, there was always a line for them (even if they weren't there at that moment).

When I met them during the day, they did have a PP photographer with them

Mthey usually do have a photopass photographer and usually another switches out for when they need breaks but sometimes there isn't one to swap out so there will only be one half the time. There are always hosts so they can take pictures with your cameras if there isn't a PP.

As for Both of them being there, Jack usually is out by himself first thing in the morning but usually Sally is with him the rest of the day (they do take a break and close the line from 1145-1215 or so). On occasion Sally will only be out half the day, but that is pretty rare and usually a staffing issue, sick call, etc

Does the line just stay put when they take their break around noon? We have a late breakfast ADR and we wanted to try to get in line around noon so we could see them when they come back out at 12:15. Will the line be terrible that time of day?

Does anyone know if still Jack and Sally make an appearance when it gets closer to Thanksgiving? We are watching The Nightmare Before Christmas right now and I think my daughters would love to meet them. I know I would!

I met them two years ago in December, I am pretty sure they are out as long as the HM is, but I think my cousin met Jack in the summer as well.

They do cut the line, often around 11 to give them enough time to finish the line by the time they need to go in. Once the line is done (1145 ish) they don't usually start an official line but one will usually form and by the time they come back at 1215 it's often at least 30 minutes long already. The line averaged from 30-90 minutes depending on crowds and time of day.

They will continue to meet throughout the holiday season, until the end of Christmas time when they remove the mansion overlay. Of note, during the extremely busy week between Christmas and New Years it can get so crowded in NOS with the lines for Mansion and Pirates extra ding into surrounding areas that they will cut Jack and Sally if they cannot safely walk out to a great location.
