The Jets didn't earn their win in week 16....they got it since the Colts pulled their starters.

Sure, they might have gone on to win that game but they were LOSING (as they will do next week too) when the Colts took the rest of the game off.

Were we watching the same game? I tuned in and thought to myself, "wow, Peyton is not going to have a problem with either of these teams." I didn't think the Jets or the Chargers played well.

I'm rooting for the Colts all the way. But I wish Good luck to the Jets fans anyway.

The score was only 15-10 when the Colts pulled their starters out. The Jets have a solid running game, strong defense and aggressive coach - exactly the kind of team that can challenge Manning.

Don't get me wrong, I think the Colts are a great team and I would be routing for them if they weren't playing the Jets. Imagine the irony of a Jets win - not only would the Colts have thrown away the chance of a perfect season to the Jets - and eliminate them from the playoffs - but they will have been the team to end their SB chance as well.

If Sanchez can make good plays when he has the chance and not make mistakes, this should be a great game!!

I'm looking forward to this game with all of starters in to see how they do. What many people may not realize is that even with our starters playing, we were also resting many. Robert Mathis didn't dress and Freeney was on a limited snap count, so Sanchez didn't have to face our full pass rush. Melvin Bullitt, our starting free safety dressed, but didn't play a snap. Clint Session, our starting linebacker didn't play. On the offensive side, Garcon, our number 2 receiver didn't play, nor did our starting left tackle. Those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head.

I don't know what will happen this week, but I'm excited to see how we do with our full team playing. It will be a tight, physical game and we can play that type of game. People weren't giving the Colts much love when it came to beating the dominating Ravens defense and running game and that worked
out okay. Everyone knows what the game plan will be for both teams, it will all come down to execution.

Ok, I posted last Thurs about my DS' college roomie working for the JETS. He does "electronic scouting" has done it for the last 5 years. FAB job. Anyway, the JETS won and now despite the fact we are from Boston (Patriots) and my DS is living in San Deigo (Chargers)...we all hope the JETS win and DS' roomie could actually get a SUPERBOWL RING!!!
