It's not sad that the the opinion is different, I know everyone has different opinions and I would never think anything is wrong with that. It is sad in the manner in which the opinion is expressed. In this case to me, to say someone is not normal because they are male and choose ro wear nail polish is sad.

By society's standards, men wearing red nail polish isn't "normal". That's why you don't see it every day walking down the street. It's not the "norm".
I know it sounds harsh to say something isn't normal, but if we use the word in it's true definition, it's not harsh at all.
Honestly, if my husband started wearing red nail polish, I'd tell him to take it off right now and I'd tell him he isn't normal!
But I'd never tell that to anyone else, even if I was thinking it.
