I've rented points and I have some questions

I've just rented points for BCV 9/5-9/12 (studio) and I was wondering if I get some of the member perks like free clothes washing and valet parking? Also, are there toasters in a studio? I keep getting conflicting information on this.

You will have access to public laundry facilities. As at the resort and they can direct you.

With regard to the member perks, technically you are not eligible. Only DVC members are eligible for the perks. However, your room key will most likely be imprinted with "DVC Member". In many cases, this is adequate to get a CM to apply a DVC discount. However, some establishments / CMs may ask for the official DVC member ID card, which you obviously will not have.

both times that we rented prior to buying, we received every member perk and no CM that saw our hotel keys marked "dvc member" thought we were anything but...

There are toasters in the studios. You'll also have a wet bar, microwave, coffeemaker and refrigerator. You get a few "real" glasses and coffee mugs. You'll have a start-up supply of paper plates, bowls and cutlery (all like they use in the WDW fast food restaurants). If there is something you are missing that you need, bowl, wine opener, etc. always ask Housekeeping. They usually can come through with it.

Thanks everyone for your quick responses. We are taking the tour this trip and thought it would be great to stay at a DVC while we are deciding. Can't wait to see SSR.

Not sure about valet parking. We have always shown our DVC Membership card for the parking. I just can't remember if they actually asked for it. When we pool hopped once,they asked to see both room keys and DVC cards.
