I've preordered photopass, now what?

Another question...

We are going twice this year 10/25-11/2 and 11/26-12/3, would I be able to "save" the first trips photopass cards until after the second trip and have all the photos together on one CD or are they just too far apart?

The photos are only available in the system for 30 days, so I'm thinking that your trips are too far apart. I believe it's 30 days from the date the picture is taken, not from the date you load them into your computer (which would be after 11/2 but would still be pushing it even if you did it immediately when you returned from your second trip).

Sorry!

Yes, these are set up and added by photopass, not by guest.

Craddling baby Simba in arms - AK
Stitch ripping thru the pavement - HS
Ghost placed driving the horse hearse outside HM - MK

We got both Tinkerbell and Stitch on our last trip. My family LOVED the Stitch one, our reactions (exaggerated and we had no idea what was going to be in the photo) were the best part!

That's what I thought, but then I began to think, hmmm.... Dang!

I tried to get the cheaper price by buying photopass early. this is the letter I got back...... I though the on line price was for everyone. :(

Make sure you take LOTS of pics with the photopass people so that you get your money's worth! You'll probably also want to bring your camera too - for places where there are no photopass photographers. There is no photopass at characer meals,

I really am not sure how someone could rack up 300 photopass pics in one trip. That seems like a long trip to me, or a TON of lost time in character greet lines.

Often to get a photopass picture, you'll have to wait in line. Sometimes you could take the same picture yourself in a fraction of the time that you'll spend in line (Likethe classic photo in front of the castle), but other times it won't take longer. Like if you wait in line for a character photo- the WDW photographer will take pics regardless, and put them on a Photopass card for you. We aren't the kind to wait in long lines to see characters (will wait in short lines often),and I have plenty of pics of us in front of the castle, the big hat, and the big tree. If you don't wait in any lines, you won't end up with many photopass pics (I think only the one from Test Track is automatic, and you still have to wait to get it on a photopass card).

I did buy the CD once - when we were able to combine pics from mutliple trips. I think I ended up with about 50 pics in all, and that was a large family group of us pooling our photos. It is cool that you can edit your pics with character sigs and borders though.

are the pics like tower of terror, test track and a few others ( yeti I believe) also on photo pass? I hope not I want to get these pics with my kids but am not going to even do the photo pass . I am not about to wait in any lines.

You can't get on-ride photo's on your Photopass, unfortunately (we tried a couple times last year)

Only test track currently on PhotoPass. As for lines, I was just there during very busy April..... we waited in no lines for any photos or at the test track photo. Maybe once or twice we waited a minute or so as someone finished with their photographer, which actually gave us a moment to take of sunglasses or remove a shoulder bag. All other times we approached a ready and waiting photog. This was at all locations all times of day. For key icon locatioins such as the castle, there were often 3 or 4 photographers in the same general area. Photopass is a great, easy way to get group photos almost any where you might want around Disney. The fact that you retain the CD and the copyright is yours makes this a great deal, I think.
