I've never had a bad meal at WDW

It is funny how so many people have bad meals to the point they won't return to a restaurant. I certainly have had some average or mediocre meals but nothing that was BAD. But then again I am like that out in the "regular" world as well. There are very few times when I couldn't eat my food because it was bad. I have ordered some things I didn't care for and not eaten all of it but that is not the restaurants fault (or it could be but I wouldn't know it because it was a new item to me). At WDW I think the most disappointing items have been the counter service burgers. They never seem to be hot and don't have much flavor. They are not bad, just bland.

I cant say I ever had a terrible meal at WDW either. I have at time had bad serivce but not a really bad meal.

I agree. There may have been a bad meal out of three people at a table, but it won't stop me from going back to that restaurant.
(Of course, that means the restaurant will go to the bottom of the list and probably won't be visited again until all the "I must try this restaurant before I eat at all the places I want too" list).

Me neither. I mean, I wasn't wild about the noodles at Yakatori house, but it's a noodle bar...I don't know what I expected. I didn't care for Trails End, but then again, it was late in the evening when we ate there and the waitstaff was just as exhausted as we were. I'd give them another chance;its not like the food was awful, just tired.

I can't think of any restaurant at WDW that i wouldn't eat at. In fact, I'm hungry for Boma right now

For those of you who've had bad service at a resturaunt and yet only gone once, I encourage you to give it another try. In December, I decided to try 2 resturaunts where I'd had really bad service and had vowed I'd never go back. Well, at both resturaunts, I had great service and loved it. Yet at Beaches and Cream, where I'd gone many times before, I had terrible service this time, from a server I'd had before and who'd always been nice. She was really grouchy and almost rude.

I've never had a bad meal either. There have been some meals i've liked a lot more than others, but no meal that I would say was so bad that I wouldn't return. Come to think of it I don't believe i've ever had bad service at DW either. Hope I didn't just jinks myself for my Aug trip.

We have had bad meals, and bad service, and since there are so many restaurants to eat at (we've eaten at approx. 75% of WDW restaurants), there is no reason to return anytime soon. We always visit our favs, but those that aren't our favs, due to various reasons, we don't rush back to. I can't say there is any restaurant that we hate - but there are a few that are very overrated in our opinion (and since we've eaten at so many, we have no problems ranking them this way), and some that are just plain not that great!

I've eaten at O'hanas, CG, WCC, HDDR, Chefs de France, Coral Reef, Biergarten, Alfredo's, R&C, Garden Grill, Tony's, Sci-Fi, Mama Melroses, 1900 Park Fair, Citricos, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's, CRT, Plaza Rest., LeCellier, Boatwright's, HoB, Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood, Boma's, Kona Cafe, Akershus (pre-princess), LTT, ABC Commissary, to name a few and I've never had a BAD experience. There are some I didn't care for and won't be returning to but nothing awful has ever happened at any of these and I've eaten at a few of them several times if not at every trip.

I agree. I have not had a bad meal yet at WDW. I have been to a few restaurants that I felt were overrated or overpriced and those are the restaurants we probably won't return to.

I've never had a *terrible* meal at Disney, but I have certainly had some that were disappointing. Liberty Tree Tavern and Fulton's both come to mind. There was nothing bad about the food (bad meaning--I want to vomit!!). But to me, it was so subpar that I felt that the value for what I spent was poor enough that I didn't want to waste the $$$$ again.

Now, here at home, I once had a meal at a place called Lebanese Taverna. I ordered a beef kabob and when I took the first bite of meat it was so utterly repulsive, I didn't know what to do. I slowly chewed the meat and swallowed it and felt ill. All my tablemates looked at me and said "what's wrong?" I explained it. A guy at my table took a bite of the kabob and quickly spit it out on his plate.

I think the meat was just bad. Blech. This has never happened at Disney World thank God.

We have never had a bad meal in 4 visits to WDW. There have been a couple of instances where the "experience" wasn't what we expected but the food was good. With the exception of a very bland CS burger in MGM, I can't think of any time where we found the food to be bad. I hope I didn't just jinx our upcoming trip

My Wife and I had a "bad" meal at the Mexican CS place at EPCOT. She had a Taco salad that tasted fine, but 45 minutes later ended up all over the International Gateway. She spent two days in bed, unable to move, high fever.

Apparently, food poisoning is quite common at WDW. I heard Mexico (EPCOT) is one of the "most likely" places to get it, since they have the sour cream out in the Florida heat. She will never eat there again.

I only had one incident that took place at home, and it was with a bad mussel. As soon as it hit my tongue, my whole body locked up. It fell out of my mouth, and I scrubbed my tongue like Tom Hanks in "Big". No harm beyond that nasty taste.

I haven't had a bad meal either. In 14 trips. There have been some meals that were okay but it doesn't' deter me from going back. I have loved all the restaurants. Even when the food lacked a bit of luster the ambiance and service have made up for it. I always tell pple the restaurant could be having an off night and to try it again on another trip! : )

The only place i've had a bad meal at was Tony's Town Square. My food was not close to being edible (Burnt). Everywhere else has either been good or even excellent. Restaurants at WDW are just like restaurants out of the World. You have the good, the bad and the ugly.

I'm trying alot of new places this time around, so it should be interesting. Hubby and I are adventurous eaters. Mom likes "plain Food" and my son...well lets just say that Mac and Cheese and cereal are his food groups.

I have had disappointing meals and disappointing experiences - but never anything bad or horrible.

I am a very tolerant person - only something truly horrible would turn me off of a particular restaurant. Like life - every day in a restaurant is different. Disappointing one day could be fantastic the next, a bad server one day codul be the best one the next day - I just try approach everything with an open mind and reasonable expectations

I've had many WDW meals, and have never had what I would call bad service. I've only had two lousy meals: ABC Commissary (chicken was all bones & gristle) and the Cantina in WS (cold, congealed, tasteless). All my other meals have been good to outstanding.

Never a bad TS meal or bad service. Even disappointments are rare. Worst service was a server at Crystal Palace that pretty much ignored us, but did refill our water. And that was 5 years ago. Worst meal was a CS meal at Wonders of Life about a month before it closed.

I've said this, but in truth, I've had bad meals - its just that the statute of limitations has run out on the horrible Cobb salad I had at Brown Derby fifteen years ago.

Otherwise, I've had disappointing meals, and meals where I ordered something I didn't like. We've had several meals where the service wasn't up to snuff, and one or two that were really poor values.

I've been dissapointed in menus but the only "bad" food we've had was the vegetarian entree at Flying Fish. Not gross but a la Stouffers.
