It's never easy when someone you love is in the hospital. It's so much harder with children. I'll keep Co-Co in my prayers. Please give her a hug and sprinkle her with some pixie dust for me, okay?

It fits her pretty well. It's actually short for Chloe..... which is short for Chloette.

Thank you all for your prayers..... the hospital did decide to release her about 9:00 tonight. My DB really felt that there is some medical advantage to being home to recover if the danger is over, and it is. The "scare" they had this morning was very possibly an isolated incident brought on the "trauma" her body has been through this week, my DB and DSIL will watch carefully that it doesn't occur again... and if it should, they will return immediately. She's still a bit sick and not eating..... but her fever is controlled, and it's nothing they can't handle at home. It's looks like it was just a nasty bug.... and for that we are thankful!!!

Thank you again for your prayers and PD..... it's a relief for them all that they will be sleeping much more comfortably in their own beds tonight.

YAY for Co-Co. Looks like Auntie Auntie Fishy† needs to visit tomorrow with some ice cream, freeze pops, and other assorted goodies.

Actually Heidi, if she is still a little dehydrated, Pedialyte (children's eloctrolyte restorer) makes freeze pops. DS would always eat them, but not drink the stuff. PM me if you need more info, I'm up for a bit yet.

Good to hear the update, Heidi. My prayers are with little Co-Co. Hoping she feels a lot better in the morning.

I just saw this, Heidi. I'm glad Co-Co is doing better. It's so scary when they're that young and get sick, and even scarier when they have to go in the hospital. They look so tiny in the hospital for some reason.

I'll pray that she continues on the road to a speedy recovery.
