I've just booked Pop Century

We're also going to Pop in Oct!

I believe that MNSSHP tickets go on sale at the beginning of May, I'll be keeping an eye out so I'll let you know.

wow, good choice - i hope!!
we are going to pop in the summer - can't wait.

Congratulations on your booking.
Weve been in October(23rd-5thNov) it was great.Weather was great warm enough for a day at Typhoon Lagoon and Clearwater.MNSSHP also a fab night
we went on the 31st,it was a sell out night, but I didnt think it was packed Im not sure how many tickets they sell for each night but as I remember we did'nt wait any longer than half an hour for a ride. The parade and fireworks on that night are amazing. All you have to think about is..who or what shall I go as :scratchin

At the end of the MNSSHP what is it like to catch the bus back to the hotel?

I'm guessing it's probably not even as bad as a normal park closing.

If you think about it, on a normal night after Wishes, EVERYONE is leaving at once, whereas on a MNSSHP night, there are two showings of the fireworks, so some people will leave after the first showing, others after the second, and some will stay even later until midnight when the park closes.

So perhaps the crowds filter through better on these nights?

This is just me presuming though, and hoping for when we are there! :goodvibes

This sounds like good news.:thumbsup2 If I plan it right it could be a relatively smooth journey back to the hotel at night.

Another question on the MNSSHP. What time do they clear the park before letting all the "partygoers" in, and will this have an effect on what time you can dine in the park?

Hoping to book the MNSSHP. Is it bedlam on the night?

We've done a couple of MNSSHP's on the 31st ~ First time, which was a week night, and it wasn't too bad. Second time was a weekend and it was mobed. Usually the 31st does sell out, so get your tix plenty of time in advance.

Great news that you are booked to go again Richard :thumbsup2

The last couple of times we have been to MNSSHP and MVMCP Disney has always done a wristband distribution exercise for people already in the MK where you show your party tickets and get a wristband that entitles you to have full participation in the nights event. This means you can stay in the park and then ride all the rides and do all the Trick or Treating that you like once the party has started. :sunny:

I didn't actually see anyone without a band being told to leave the park on any of these nights. There were cast members looking out for the poeple missing the bands and they were 'advised' on the situation but certainly not frog marched to the exit. All they could really do was go and eat something or do some shopping so Disney probably doesn't mind them being slow to leave if they are spending lots of $$ ;)

It's a great evening, I am sure you will have lots of fun

We used our car,not Disney Transport. We also stayed right untill the end.It was bad trying to get out of MK everybody just shuffles forward.I carnt remember what it was like getting from MK to our car,I think it was ok.

We did MNSSHP last October, we were also amongst the last to leave the park (don't beleive anyone when they say to miss the trick or treating as you'll get given loads on exit - the 'bins' were empty when we left!) the bus back to POFQ took only a few minutes to arrive and everyone got a seat, definately better than during the day.
also, its great doing all the rides in the dark with no queues :thumbsup2

How does the "Trick or Treating" work? I've seen people with bag loads of goodies. Do you have to do something and a CM then rewards you for it?

You can do if you want although generally you just join a line a nd yell trick or treat at the CM and they give you a couple of handfuls of candy, there are TorT places all over the parks so you tend to do it walking from one land to another or from ride to ride.
It was the best night we had - absolutely great!

most of this are common knowledge but just want to share our won excitement with Pop, etc.

So, its now on with the planning, booking up of restaurants etc.

A couple of questions:

What are the best rooms at the PC? We don't want it too noisy and we dont want to be in any smoking room.

WE LOVE THE 60'S overlooking the Lake !! very nice and quiet !!!
When and how do you book up the Mickeys Not So Very Scary Party?

We always go on the 1st day, they said it's either the 1st day or the last day are good but for us the 1st day was good since it's around Dsis bday. You might want to book it before you get there, last year rest of family waited and by the time we got there it was sold out !

If you have an ADR for dinner make it around 4PM and you would not need to use any other ticket but your MNSSHP Ticket :)
Le Cellier, O'Hanas, Whispering Canyon, Bomas, The Liberty Tree etc. beware, we're on our way back!:dance3:

You mentioned 4 of our fave TS:

Boma according to some is an acquired taste but my BIL who was from UK Love love Boma so I hope you'll have the same feelings about it. Gotta love the Dessert Bar Yum:banana:

Whispering canyon one word FUN !!! every trip we go there and the CM had never failed us they are such energetic fun oriented CM esp'ly with their Ketchup and tea refills and their stories!!

O'hana ... love love dinner at O'hana esp'ly on 1st nites, we get their in tine for Wshes either on or after dinner. During dinner they dim the lights and you can see it from the restaurants and music were piped in. IF you get there early... walk along the beach grab a beach chair.. stretched and enjoy Wishes outside and added attraction is the EWP !!! And O'hanas has lots of activities for kids in between bites :woohoo: I just have not been there since Lipoa the regular hostess was fired :( I hope the one who replaced her is as much fun as her entertainment.

LTT is perfect for your MNSSHP nite ! they are very kid oriented and makes your child feel like she is a regular and one of teh gang!

Hope this had helped ! Ohhh am so excited for you...

We might see you there... we are checking in Sept. 29th to Oct 5th !! If you need those lime green paint swatches from home depot PM back and I will mail you some. Last Sept we decorated our doors... you'll see alot of decorated doors .. really!!!
