I've got the name of the 3rd ship straight from Capt. Henry!

Just returned from the 9/7-9/11 Wonder Cruise and at the Castaway Club reception Captain Henry said that he had seen all the rumors floating around on the internet boards (oh my gosh, does that mean he reads the DIS?!?!) about a possible third ship and that the name of that third ship was the Disney Rumor! He specifically said that there is NO third ship currently being built. Sorry everybody, had to do it!

A while back there was a thread going here and people were convinced the 3rd ship was under construction and some even told me it was named but they couldnt remember it. I really didnt think it was but I wasnt going to argue. Thanks for setting the record straight.

And yes, from what I got from the officers on the ship, they do read these boards.

On our last cruise which was 11 months ago our capt. said that the plans were in the making of a 3rd ship. So, I guess it's still on the drawing board. I heard the 3rd ship was going to be named "Dreams". Maybe just rumors, who knows?????

The woman on the Magic last month said that the ship has not yet started to be built yet. They are still taking bids for shipyards. And that once they find a shipyard, it will be at least 2 years before the ship would be ready to sail.

Comtrary to popular rumor, the fifth ship will not be cruising the Great Lakes, but rather the Seven Seas Lagoon.
