We put a BIG PINWHEEL in our garden. Apparently the vibaration from the pinwheel is enough of an annoyance for them to take up residence elsewhere....hopefully far away.
Sounds crazy.....but it worked for us.....

They sell traps "Have a heart trap" were you can catch these critters and relocate them.

I have to say I have no heart for critters that eat my vegetables and flowers. I just cannot bring myself to use bombs.

We have no heart for them either, they dig their holes in the cow pastures and we've had a couple of cows break a leg because of them. They also have holes along the bank of the creek and we have to be careful when fishing. I know I'm gonna hear about it but we shoot them.
