As a citizen of a country on the brink of war, I am heartened that we have soldiers willing to lay down their very lives for the freedom of others to complain about a double-standard on a Disney fan discussion board. We live in a great country if this is the most we can find to complain about.

Beauty, I too am clueless. I love your posts and hope you will just take a break. Most on these boards are very good people. I know from all the cards, and calls while in the hospital. I hope that you can look to all the good on these boards and ignore what has happened. Just know you are loved here by many and that should account for something. Take your break and then come and have a good time with us. Please.

Sonja - somehow I don't think that *double standards* on a Disney site is the greatest thing that we have to complain about...I wish it was. Unfortunately, there are A TON more horrible things going on out there - in fact to many to list...

But my *home* here, one that once welcomed me with open arms after I had my first tumor removed, and sent their pixie dust when at only 3 months to my wedding I found out that the tumor grew back and I had to get it removed again...to the flooding of PM's and email I received after my most recent surgery back in Sept.

Believe me guys, as much as we may feel at times that things in life seem *unfair*...at times, this place can literally move mountains - I felt it with my own heart...

It's too bad when people get fed up with events and feel like they need to move on. I had some trouble myself at another board but I discovered that if I had several homes on the Internet, I would then have other places to escape to if the going got rough at one. Maybe this new home will make the DIS seem not quite so frustrating.

I have never spoken to you but I could not agree with you more about the double standards by SOME, not all. I find it quite funny that all the sigs on this thread have class except for a couple and those are the least ones you would expect it from.

I have only been on the Disboards for about a month or so, I must admit that I got caught up in some of the "this and that" but I thought it was all in good fun. I may have made a comment here or there that was uncalled for but let me tell you a lot of comments were made by others that went unnoticed. I am Italian and have had a lot of derogatory remarks thrown my way, I have thick skin and a sense of humour ... I laughed at some and thought, "you know, they aren't to far from the truth” I found this as my cue to join in and talk about each other in a positive way and get away from all the crap in the world.

WillyJ, I must believe that you are a Boss fan. I said a few things on another thread directed at you about who the real Boss is ... my friend (I hope we can be). I hope you know when me or my friends (they have become that now) said anything it was all in fun. I hope we get to talk in the near future WillJ, maybe exchange some concert stories.

If I offended anyone in any shape or form then I wish that I had informed. All that I was trying to get across is my fear of censorship. For those who I offended or insulted I honestly do apologize, I only wish that others saw their faults.
