I've completely lost my desire to scrap Disney...

...because we are moving to Orlando in November.

Now I feel like Disney is going to be a part of every day life and its not going to be so special.

I'm trying to muster some creativity to finish our Fall 2008 trip, since that was a special trip to celebrate out 2nd wedding anniversary.

I've moved on to finally starting our honeymoon album and working on our puppies' book. I've finished 4 pages this morning of the pups (granted I'm more of a "simple scrapper" I don't use a ton of embellishments or complicated layouts)

It stays special- just in a different way

It does become harder in some ways as you have to be more creative after scrapping Flower and Garden 4 years in a row but its still enjoyable and one thing I've found (esp as I've fallen a year behind in scrapping) is putting Disney things by event rather than chronological helps (ie F&G 07/08/09 is all together along with Christmas 07/08 etc) So I have my Disney books and my "everything else" books

I am so glad I have Girl Scouts, school pics and holiday pics to work on too.
I have to take a break from Disney every now and then or I will get total burnout. When I feel like I'm getting scrappers block, I work on something else for a while. Of course, it doesn't help too much when I'm still trying to figure out how to put a hidden mickey into every page...lol

Living close- i don't tend to scrap every trip- I have albums for each park that incorperate a number of trips to the park and an album for each of the specail events- as Emily mentioned. I do plan on doing an album of our anniversary trip in a week. I did a trip album for my 30th birthday trip and 1 for my nephew of a day trip we took with him (mini album there). Most of my trips though just get mixed into the park, character, and dining books. If something really neat or different happens then i oput it into the yearly album in with the right month.

We also live close and go often (you have to get Seasonal or Annual Passes when you become Florida residents!). Sometimes we don't even bring the camera! I do yearly albums, so sometimes I'll put a picture or two from a day trip in there. I did an 8x8 album of the F&W Festival in 2007 and DH thought that was excessive, and it probably was, but it was one of the few times we stayed over and it was very fun to make that album since I rarely do "Disney only" albums anymore. I have an album that has pictures from our trips when I was a kid through college - and there are a lot of pictures in that album because I've had my Florida Resident Pass for over 10 years and my sister and I used to go almost every weekend!

The day trips are no less special. You get to do whatever you want - rides and shows and parades - and if the lines are too long or you only get to one Park it's no big deal because you can go again in a couple of weeks :thumbsup2
