I've been disappointed with what I've been able to find online for our trip to FW next summer so I decided to make my own... What do you all think?

I'm so excited. Now to freshen up our Mickey and Minnie Light posts to go with our homemade awning lights

Yep, I'm a big Disney Dork

Very awesome!

Awesome! Did you get the fabric for the tire cover at someplace like Joann's and make it yourself?

I bought a plain spare tire cover, disassembled it to use as a pattern and purchased marine vinyl to make the actual cover. It is much more durable than the ones you can buy and should never dry out or crack. My DH thinks I need to go into business lol

Bama Ed, paging Bama Ed, I see in the near future we will be sharing her contact information on here with fellow DISers about getting one of those cool tire covers! LOL

I would buy one for sure, great job on all of it!!

I LOVE your lights! How did you do them?

A few years ago Home Depot had Christmas light sets that were 3 large balls, red, blue, and green on a string. I cut holes in the plastic and used matching ball pit balls and a hot glue gun to make the ears. Really simple. I haven't seen those lights in a few years though. Maybe something new will work this year.

Our Mickey bands just shipped so I guess it's time to break out the Musket Mickey tire cover, the T-shirts and mugs. Unfortunately our Mickey Lamp posts need repair so I'm not sure that those will make the trip this time. It's getting real.
