Practically got our October trip sewn up now (I hope!).

So far looks like this . . . .

Weds - arrive, staying at Sheraton Safari
Thurs - Busch Gardens (staying at Sheraton Safari)
Fri - IOA (staying at HRH:cool: )
Sat - USF (back to Sheraton Safari)
Sun - check in to POLY:D :eek: , Typhoon Lagoon for a few hours;
back to the Poly for a nosey and swim, then off to MNSSHP
for the evening (staying at Poly)
Mon - Epcot (staying at Poly). Hoping for Fantasmic sometime.
Tue - Travel down to Marco Island for 10 more nights:D

Phew - taken some working out, especially since Darryl and Katie don't know about the Poly;)

Just got to book some 5 day Hopper Passes now - who's got any good deals on do you know??

You HAVE been busy :) ! I'll bet you had a great time booking this though ;)

Quite a bit of resort hopping there Annie :) .... but I know you are past masters at this!

The advance price of the hoppers is cheaper than the gate prices so try checking out ticketmania and see if they are still offering free post to UK.

Disney's own site - you could choose the Will Call option so you collect them and don't pay shipping.

Wow - sounds like a fun-packed week Annie. Look forward to hearing what you think of the Sheraton Safari, as i've thought about trying it for a couple of days on a future trip.

Just realised from your countdown that you'll be flying in just as we're leaving :(

Paul

 Shirley - thanks for the Ticketmania idea, shall check them out later. Yep, last year when we resort hopped I was a bit nervous but we enjoyed it so much and I think knowing we're settling in at the Marco Hilton for 10 nights later means I can actually unpack the suitcases then!! Only one night at HRH - well, would have been nice to have a bit longer, but we're only in Orlando for 6 nights. The FOTL access for staying onsite at Universal is just so worth spending the money to stay at HRH - and the pool there is just great. Must admit I hankered for the Portofino, but Darryl and Katie were aghast to hear I'd even consider somewhere other than the HRH ;).

Richard - finally managed to choose which resort. I think what swung it for me is that we will be visiting MK for MNSSHP and then Epcot the following day, so the monorail will be very useful (even though Darryl always insists on driving everywhere . . . as it just so happens the Food & Wine festival is in Epcot he can have a few sample beers:) and that means I don't have to drive either so can do a bit of my own sampling:p :p . Have a great time at DLP, by the way :)

Kaylee - still not talking to you cos you saw Jon Bon Jovi:p Seriously though, I'm really excited about staying at the Poly. It's somewhere Darryl's mum had always wanted to stay, so I'm doing it for her as I'm sure she'll be with us in spirit.

Paul - we stayed at the Sheraton Safari for 4 nights last year, hence we're going back. It's in a great position near the Crossroads, right next door to Sizzler and Shoney's opposite for breakfasts; the hotel itself is absolutely fine, great pool for the afternoons . . . and as it's part of our Virgin package it worked out dirt cheap and didn't have to worry too much about how much we'd be losing staying at the HRH and Poly.

Annie

I love the look of your plan :) The Food and Wine festival is one of my favourites oh and the Poly looks like a wonderful hotel to stay in. So have you planned your meals yet? 'Ohanas is great :teeth:

Annie -

Gosh you are going to be busy. I am in the process of getting my first lot of ps booked. Looking forward to MNSSHP, Food and Wine Festival and IOA Halloween Horror Nights.
