Hope you all had a fun Halloween.

Since Halloween has come & gone, I thought that I'd remove the "I've been Boo'ed" bouncing pumpkins from my siggie.

Since I'm a DISboard novice, I'm curious what will circulate next on the boards... bouncing Santa Mickeys? Replacing "I've been "Boo'ed" with "I've been "(ho-ho) ho'ed" doesn't sound quite right. :rolleyes1

You will see turkeys. You will have the opportunity to post "I've been gobbled". I'm not sure you will want that any more than being ho'ed.

Nooooooo - it will say "I've been stuffed" :rolleyes1

Wait - how about "I've been plucked"

Oh my goodness! Thank goodness the Thanksgiving icon is a turkey and not a pig..... I'd rather be "gobbled" than "porked"!:thumbsup2

Are these really supposed to be better alternatives? :confused3 They actually add a slightly violent connotation to an already sketchy phrase.

Well, if you don't like any of those, how about......
GO HOKIES !!!!!

I can go for that :yay: . But if others object, maybe the phrase should say, "I was invited to do the hokie pokie?" or "I was pokied by a hokie?" I dunno. Just pulling them out of the air here :confused3 .

check your PMs everyone:dance3:

Deb, I couldn't help but notice that your signature says "Doing the turkey trot!" :rotfl: That is so cute! But I seem to recall that when my grandmother had diarrhea, she would say she had the "trots." :rotfl2: I think we can't win for losing with this Thanksgiving phrasing.

I just signed on now specifically for this. Can someone pretty please PM me the turkey? :flower3:
I love him stomping his feet, it's adorable!!

You got it:thumbsup2 The real Turkey Trot was a popular ragtime dance in the 1900s but after all that stuffing and gobbling you may experience your grandmothers trot. ;)
