I've been boo'd!!!

If you want to boo someone I say go for it. It cant hurt. If your neighbors do not put the paper on their door at least you did something nice..... :goodvibes

They started this in our neighborhood last year...except it's called being 'spooked'...same thing, though. I've already got my ghost on my door...I've been spooked!! :flower:

We Boo'd 2 families this weekend--the boos are hung up on their doors. It was alot of fun to do. My 6 yr old granddaughter did the Boo'ing

Here is my problem...I want to do more than 2. Is that allowed?

The Phantom Ghost has come to my house too. He left me a goodie bag with treats on Sat. I had so much fun making my bags to leave last night. My DH & DD had so much fun watching me run away. When no one answered they made me go knock again just to see me run. ha ha very funny.

Southern4sure - I think it would be really nice of you to do more then two bags but just make sure they don't have a ghost or Boo in their window. :sunny:

That is great. I live in New York and we have a different version of that.

One Halloween my doorbell rang and when I opened the door there was a bag on fire at my doorstep. When I put it out with my stomping, I discovered a strange smell.

The bag contained dog poop and when you put out the fire, you get that nice surprise on your feet.

Welcome to New York.

We usually do 5 or 6 of them. They are just too much fun to only do 2!

That is what I think...DH says I never can follow the rules...I always go overboard.

I never heard of this before until last night. I love it! This could be altered for Thanksgiving and Christmas I would think. Has anyone done other holidays with this idea?

I cant wait to do this! I know for sure that I will boo the next door neighbors - they have 3 kids who will really get a kick out of this. I think I will also do the neighbors across the street. I hope they "pass it forward". I want to get booed too!

Our neighborhood always does this. This year I was determined to start it off! That was almost two weeks ago and I still haven't been boo'ed back! It is still going around our street though. The kids have lots of fun doing it.

edited to add: sorry for the double post!!!!!!

We boo in our neighborhood every year. It's really a blast and you get some really cute things!!

we get boo-ed every year. It's so much fun. We take a walk at night and see how many others have been boo-ed and who hasn't ......and try to "plot" when we can boo and who!

What are some things that you guys put in your Boo bags? I was thinking some little bags of pretzels, maybe some chocolate chip cookies? I can go to the Dollar Store at lunch and pick up some other things. Give me some ideas please.

In our "boo bag" we give and receive items such as:

Halloween dish towel, little straw scarecrow, plastic pumpkin, and lots of dollar store items! We usually put 4 items in the bag and our "bag" is nothing more than a kids trick-or-treat bag so they can reuse it!

Have fun!

I've never heard of this before but I really like it! :)

When you Boo someone...do you have to leave something on their doorstep or can it be mailed? Can it be left on someone's desk at work?

We did this at the school where I worked, so yes, it can easily be done by leaving things on a colleague's desk. :flower:

Amy :)
