Prayers Said. Poor Laura...sounds like she's been through enough already. Hugs all the way around.

Kitty, she is going to be in Primary Childrens Medical Center.

She is also on Prednisone. I don't know how the IV meds will affect her but I know from previous boughts with prednisone that it will make her gain weight and swell up. Not that this is important in the grand scheme of things when we are trying to save her life, but her junior prom is coming up the end of April. This was to be her very first date. She's missing promenade practice too. This was supposed to be her time to be a princess and wear a beautiful dress, etc. And now all this . . .

Liz hun, the treatment will be hard on her body. She will be very very tired, and the meds (IV treatment) can make her moody as well. It takes her whole immune system down to fight the rejection. She may even find it hard to talk. I am sure that if all goes well she will be able to go to her Prom! I have asked God to watch over her during this time. Please if there is anything that you need. let me know. All my best to Laura. Tell her I said to keep fighting!
