Woke up at around 7:00 and just had to peek out the windows to see what was out there this happened just about every day of the trip. Didnt see anything so I went back to bed. Up and out at around 10:00 to Animal Kingdom. Very warm and muggy out today. Went to FOLK first terrific as always and it once again brought tears to my eyes. We were in the warthog section! Off to the safari but because of the heat there wasnt that much action. But we did get some great photos of the two baby elephants. Had a good rotisserie chicken lunch at Tusker House and then off to see the rest of the park. We got some great pictures of two tigers fighting in Asia. Went to change into water shoes for Kali River but I mistakenly had packed two different pairs of water shoes for DH and they were both left feet! Didnt get that wet and I got off and mom and dad rode 2xs. Watched the parade and out of the park at 5:00.
Went for a swim at the lodge then off to dinner at Boma. Ran into our neighbors Steve and Beth at dinner (we didnt just run into them, we knew they were there) Dinner was very good delicious soups and hummus dips. Everything was good and so were the drinks Elephants Desire! Walked around the lodge and savannahs and used the night vision goggles in two different spots really cool. Went to the shop and back to the room at around 10:45. Still very muggy out and no animals were out tonight. Weather channel now saying that Ivan is headed more into the gulf.
