iTunes playlist help...

It seems like I should be able to set up seperate playlists on my touch but I can't figure out if it's possible. I have my on the go playlist on the touch but is there a way to set up multiple playlists in iTunes? I would love to have seperate playlists for each of my kids for the car so we aren't fighting over what we listen too. Usually it's my car my radio so we listen to what I want but if I can set up a playlist for each kid then I can listen to my music and just theme it to each kids tastes. Is there a way of doing this?

Just go into Itunes, Files, New Playlist, name the playlist then drag and drop any songs you want into them. Do this for all the lists you want. When you sync your Ipod they will all be on there.
There is also smart playlist, if you want all of one type of thing in a playlist. Such as all songs by one artist. You can select smart playlist and put in that artists name and it will instantly create a playlist with all songs from your library with that artist. And every time you add songs with that artist they will automatically go into that playlist. You can do that with genre and many other options also.

You're welcome. I have sooooooooooooo many playlists on my Ipods, I have trouble finding the one I want sometimes. I actually have so many songs in my Itunes that I can't fit them all on my Nano, so I only sync the playlists that I want. I have much more room on my Touch, but my Nano is the one I carry with me in my purse to use in the car.

Now I just need to add some more songs to my itunes for ds! All of those old classic rock cds need to be loaded and then he can choose.
