I just went to DCA on Saturday (5/10) and It's tough to be a bug was playing. Is it really down for refurb this week? My aunt and two cousins are going for the first time and I would hate for them to miss it.

Anyone there this week?

This topic made me laugh. That show absolutely terrified my kids. My son was so scared that when we went to the Aladdin show (after he stopped screaming and crying) he lost it all over again when the lights dimmed. He kept saying "are things going to jump out!?". Poor kid! Luckily, he settled down and enjoyed the rest of our trip:) ITTBAB could be on the refurb list forever and my kids would rejoice knowing that the mean bugs are being silenced :lmao: !

I think the poster above answered your question;)

That show terrified me too! And I'm not really afraid of bugs, but I couldn't imagine being small and watching that show.. It's fun, but still very scary..

But to the OP, yeah, I'm going this weekend (Friday through Monday) and it's closed the entire time we're going to be there..

I'm terrified of spiders and that's the only reason I hate ITTBAB, but I love taking people to that show for their first time. That's too bad that it will be closed while you're there and can't take your aunt and cousins. You could always just poke them and spray them with a water bottle, not really the same effect, but it'll give them an idea of the show. :upsidedow

Or you could take them to Honey I Shrunk The Audience?

We're only going to DCA and HISTA is not nearly as cool as ITTBAB

Totally agree--plus I hate snakes, so you can imagine how I feel about HISTA.

The bugs didn't bother me . . . . and usually I don't like that sort of thing.
