about time after all the rain we had

It is a little chilly but I'll take that it's better than WET

Last night was DD's award ceremony

she got awards
for outstanding achievemnt
outstanding attitude
and overall academic success

it was a pretty cool night

So today is just work

We have awards day on Friday!!!

The 6th graders have their Culture Fest tomorrow that I'm working so today it's clean house day and wait for the plumber to get here to fix the water heater again this week! He was just out 2 weeks ago! EEERRRRR!

It is suppose to be warm and sunny here today but it has started off on the cold side..

DS5's last soccer game for the season is tonight...

It's chilly in Maine today!!! DD,6 is "bridging" from Daisies to Brownies this afternoon. She is so excited. She got all dressed up this morning.

Other than that just working until 1:00 than off to see daughter walk over the bridge to Brownies.

My DD didn't get into Daisies or Brownies..but that sounds like the cutest little ceremony!!! I bet she is just thrilled!

Today I'm working on a grant report that I've been putting off, and doing last minute things for a trip to PA to see my parents. Procrastinator should have been my middle name as I've put off getting my father's birthday present ready, haven't packed, and have to finish my mother's mother's day gift ( a necklace I'm working on).

And of course, it's the American Idol final tonight. It's got to be Taylor!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....she is excited , and that is an understatement. She got up this morning and dressed all up in a new skirt outfit we bought her. She had to have her hair trimmed last night and we had to curl it this morning. She is one happy camper.

Am taking the digital with me today, wouldn't miss it for the world!!!

I hope everyone had a good Tuesday! We are finishing up at work--putting grades on, getting final transcripts ready, etc. We are on a new, really horrible system this year, and it didn't decide to work until 1:30 this afternoon. I called the system operators (for the state), and the lady told me, "Well, all of you across the state are trying to do the same thing at the same time, so you shouldn't complain that it is slow. Don't say it doesn't work--it is the fault of all of you." Now, would you invent a school based system for grading, scheduling, etc., and NOT assume that everyone would be trying to put in grades in May???? Ok, sorry! I just had to vent!

Tomorrow is Wednesday! We're halfway there!

Kayla that is great...It is nice when the kids get recognized...great incentive to try harder!!!

Yeah for the new Brownie!!! We fly up tomorrow and become girl scouts!

We have three more days of school! Lots hapening in these couple of days!
