Its Tuesday.....AMERICAN IDOL!!!!!

Ruben is starting to get really boring. Hes a good singer and all but i ddont think hes as fantastic as they all make him out to be. The second ssong he sang was killing me. I thought i was gonna fall asleep.

Clay = WONDERFUL! PERFECT! AMAZING!
Kim = you go, girl!
Trenyce = much better than normal
Ruben = starting to get boring
Josh = gone, just not up to the caliber they're at

Wow! I thought it was a GREAT night overall!

Ruben--he is good, but he is getting boring; he's not very versatile IMHO

Trenyce--I liked her 1st song a lot, but her 2nd song didn't thrill me as much as it did the judges; I do think she drastically improved from last week

Josh--I think he seems like a super guy, but I think he's out of his league a bit (he does have a great country voice though--he should be on Nashville Star)

Kimberley--I loved her 2nd song; you go girl!

Clay--AMAZING!!!!! He really stretched himself tonight; I'm STILL singing "Build Me Up Buttercup" LOL

As soon as they said that Clay would be singing "Build Me Up Buttercup" I knew it was gonna be awesome! I absolutely love that song and he definitely did an excellent job. He did a great on his second song too. He was definitely the best tonight, no doubt about that. I also think Kimberley and Trenyce did pretty good. Ruben is definitely boring and I still do not understand all the praise he's getting.

Clay was the best! What was up with Josh? He looked like such a sourpuss! No smiling or waving at the end. Who would vote for that?

Josh may not appeal to as many people but it's a matter of style IMO not his talent. Simon is such a cold guy, I'm glad that he makes me laugh too.

Ruben didn't do it for me tonight and neither did Kimberly. Trenyce was better but I can't see anyone beating Clay if he keeps this up. I'm amazed at how he totally did away with those facial expressions and really looked like a star tonight IMO.

My order for tonight's performances:

#1 -- Ruben (still my number one)
#2 -- Clay (he is not usually one of my favorites but he was great tonight)
#3 -- Trenyce (fantastic job. I really hope she won't be going home tomorrow)
#4 -- Kim L. (I have never been a big fan of her and tonight did not change my mind)
#5 -- Josh (it pains me to have to put Josh at the bottom because I like him as a person a lot but he was the worst)

Simon was so RUDE to Trenyce saying her song reminded him of a drag show! I really don't see that as constructive critism.

I've liked Clay from the start, but when he sang "Build Me Up Buttercup" that was it. I love that song! He did great with his second one as well.

I like Josh, but do think he is out of his league at this point. I agree that he would have gone further with Nashville Star.

Tough call for going home - think it may be Josh. The scary part will be who is the bottom 3?

I'm ready for Josh to go. He seems to have lost his confidence and it shows when he sings. He acts like he knows his time is coming fast. And I don't like his comments towards Simon because honestly I agree with Simon this time.

Clay & Kim are my favs!

Whenever Clay or Rueben sing, I find myself smiling. Boy, was my smile big tonight when Clay sang!

I have a feeling Josh is due to go - he's likeable, but out of his league at this stage. His comments to Simon certainly didn't help, either. He's got to learn that not everyone will gush over him, regardless how poorly he performs.

Kimberley was really good, but didn't "wow" me.

Trenyce is trying harder, but it's too obvious that she's trying.

Ruben's voice is wonderful, but his delivery is too predictable.

Clay has worked hard on changing his mannerisms, and giving more of himself into his performance - I think he shone far above the rest tonight.

I think the obvious choice to say goodbye tomorrow is Josh. The sad truth is that while everyone else seems to be improving each week, Josh apparently peaked during the auditions.

I am so upset that we missed tonights show! The girls had extra dance rehearsals due to competition on Saturday and I'll miss the Wednesday night show too because of more rehearsals! What songs were they singing tonight? Who was the guest judge?

Nancy, Neil Sedaka was the guest judge. I really couldn't tell you who sang what. Each one sang two songs. I know Clay sang "Build Me Up Buttercup" and "Solitaire". Can't remember all the others.

With the exception of "Build me up Buttercup" that Clay sang, I didn't really enjoy the 60's songs very much. I ended up liking all the Neil Sedaka songs except "Bad Blood" done by Josh.

I though Neil Sedaka did a great job as a judge - he had obviously prepared and had appropriate comments ready for each of them. Clay had to be honored to have him say he would love to produce his first album and to see him tear up at Clay's version of "Solitaire".

Nancy, you really missed a good one since they each sang twice!

I thought all the performers, with the exception of Josh's 2nd song, did a fabulous job last night!

No question that Clay was the best. His version of Solitaire was really top notch. He isn't usually my favorite, but after last night I don't know how he could lose.

Loved Ruben, as always, but he just doesn't have the range that Clay has, at least last night.

I also love Kim L.! Love her sultry voice.

Trenyce has had a bad rap since the beginning, and I was so glad to see her have good performances last night. Simon telling her she looked like a drag queen was over the top.

Josh was o.k. in the first song, horrible in the second. Everyone is always saying what a nice guy he is, but I guess I haven't seen the niceness from him. Yes, he is a Marine, but to me that doesn't make him nice. He always looks very angry and sulking to me.

I've really liked Josh from his audition on....but, he just doesn't seem to mix in with the others. If you've watched him for the past several weeks, he seems to be stand-offish. Now, it could be that he's coming from a different place. Example: when my son went back to college, after getting his first degree, he lived at home and never partied. Got terrific grades. He said that he'd already done the keg parties and such, now it was grown-up time. So, maybe since he's married, a dad, and a marine he has a different outlook. But that being said, he sure is looking pouty lately. His first song was right on I thought, the second, well, he should have quit after the first one!!
Ruben was okay....I thought he was a little 'pitchy' to quote Randy's favorite critique, except where Ruben is concerned.
Trenyce..she was okay. I've never warmed up to her.
Kimberly...thought she did a good job. I like her more each week.
THen there's Clay....oh my. What a terrific job he did.
I think that Josh is gone tonight. In the bottom three my guess would be Josh, Trenyce and Kim. Don't think America is ready to put Ruben in the bottom yet. And with just 5 left, that's a hard vote.

Great performances last night!! Its time in my opinion for Josh to go home He just cant compare to who is left.
I sure wouldnt want to pick a winner out of them they all are fabulous!!!!
