It's Transformers! (didn't see that one coming...)

Personally I'm underwhelmed because I hate all the Transformers films, but it could very well be an awesome ride. I'm just not all that excited.

I actually went on the one in USH last summer and found it to be a big letdown. It was simply The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man without SM and Transformers instead. Even though I knew the announcement was Transformers, I am still disappointed.

Oh, what a bummer :sad2: That's not very exciting at all. Ah well!

No surprise there! It is much better than what was there before, lol. My kids rode it in Hollywood and said that it is a great ride. The speed is captured very well but there are a lot of similar elements to the Spiderman ride.

I must say, though, how impressed I am with the speed in which the ride is being built. I'm also very impressed with the money that is being put into the parks.

Donald, Donald, Donald. Transformers is not going where Jaws was. It is in the old Soundstage 44 buiding..........where NOTHING was!!!!!

(attached to the Monsters' Cafe).

No surprise with all the speculation. I am surprised about the summer 2013 opening though! I think it will be a big boost for the Studios. We're thrilled about the ride (big fans of the brand and who doesn't love a new awesome ride?!:goodvibes) but sad we'll miss it's opening since our next trip is planned for late April/early May.

Well, the surprise part was sarcasm. It was impossible to miss "TransformersCountdown".

Anyways, I do agree that it's better than the empty soundstage that was there but the ride technology, vehicle, special effects (even the order of them) is identical to Spider-Man. It it what I like to call a "copycat attraction".

transformers is not what i would have chosen to be put into the studios.
the movie made a lot of money.
Michael Bay makes great action movies.

the actors in the transformer movie ruined it for me.
thought they were awful.

but, i am a ride ***** and will ride any ride in the parks.

when transformers is open to the public, i will be in that line to ride it.

I knew it was sarcasm, lol. Yup, it is a copycat attraction, but it is better than no attraction and probably better than most attractions. I'm happy with it, considering it is something very unexpected in the sense that I never expected to be getting something there. To me it is a bonus ride.

why are my posts duplicated?
i feel like i am in the twilight zone now.

Does anyone think there is anyway the ride will be different than the one in LA in any slight way? I mean the Mummy rides are different, so maybe this one will be since its identical to Spiderman
