'Its Tought To Be A Bug' isn't good for the little ones!!

I've always loved that, even when I was younger. I guess it's different for everyone.

I'm not a fan of that attraction for adults and children alike. I'm not afraid of bugs but the loud noises, smells, and screams from the audience are too much for me. When I took my nephew last time it took quite a while to get him to calm down and stop crying. I just avoid that one whenever we are at the World.

OMG - at 43 yrs. old I am not fond of that attraction!!! :scared:
I will go on Tot and RnR, and M:S, but have something jump out at me, and I am a total freak!!! :rotfl2: Luckily, I was warned about that attraction and Honey I Shrunk the Audience (mice :scared1: )....and DH laughs at me everytime I sit with my legs crossed up in my seat for Honey I Shrunk! I would have been scarred for life as a kid on both of those (still have to calm myself on HM!!) - and DH LOVES scary stuff. Our last time at MK, DH went on AE by himself (one was more than enough for me!)

I would think you'd have to know how your children react to those types of situations - I imagine it could have an impact on the trip. The first time DH and I experienced Its Tough, there was a 9 or 10 yr old boy behind us in line...annoying the heck out of us (climbing the tree, fooling around and bumping into us in line, etc). His younger brother was better behaved, and the parents did nothing. At the end of the show, the 9/10 yr old was hysterically crying, and the younger brother was still calm. It kind of made us chuckle a bit (yes, I know, my bad).

Wonder if I'll do it this time..................... :rotfl:

My DD5 (at the time) thought it was hilarious and I told another friend about it. I suggested they go when she and her family were there with the DS's 5 and 3 and they had to leave b/c the kids were screaming and crying and disrupting the show. She said that they were terrified all day and it ruined their day. So I agree with the other posters, if your child is easily frightened or you are not sure, don't take them in. Or at least sit close to the door for easy exit.
