It's too far away :( (HOW DO i PASS TIME?)

What I did was.... not think about it for a couple months and get something else on my mind but it is hard to do. Once you have a trip planned it is hard not to think of it but I think of other things. and I did not come on the Dis for 3 months because I would not beable to control myself lol

what i do is i pack and such, so i can think of all the great things ahead of me

I began planning my trip 163 days out. I'm now down to 29 days and it has been torture! I keep reading the boards and revise my itinerary that I have made for my trip to keep me sane. My advice is to keep planning and reading up - I think the planning stage can be fun. At least you have plenty of time to research and plan out exactly what you want to do. :thumbsup2

I am just wondering how on earth you can plan a trip so far in advance? I must be the abnormal. The best I can plan is about 4 months. I really just wait for a good deal like free dining or a good room rate then we check for airfare and then make a decision to return. We are planning on a trip to WDW every 3 months as my DS loves it there.

But with the airlines restrictions, we might end up going to DL instead as it is closer. I am from Fl. and just the world. I don't want DL but if we have to...urg.

I made our ressie 375 days out. We are now down to 39 days and going crazy. I have planned, and replanned. Made itineraries and revised it. i checked best days calanders and revised again. Made ADRs and changed things again because the dinner times were not what I planned. It has been so much fun planning I dont know what I will do when I finally get to WDW. I supose I start planning the next trip for 2007.
Have a great time planning and the time will go by quickly. :sunny:

I like to make an itinerary (subject to change of course) and then begin planning the ADR's. If you haven't looked at the menus at the WDW restaurants, now would be a good time. This year I made a small notebook (an idea I got off this board) and made a section for each day. We plan the rides we want to do, shows we want to see, etc. If you haven't ordered the free planning video from the Disney website you should. It adds to the anticipation. Happy planning.

I started planning our trip in mid-April. Since then I have read thru 3 touring books at least 3 times each. I try to read a little of them every night. I didn't get on the boards until a month ago but it has really helped the time to pass. I don't know what I will do next time around...I think we are looking 2 years out for the next trip! Just keep reading and surfing the internet for disney info..it will go by fast! :thumbsup2
