It's the weekend! What's everyone planning to do?

ds is going to work w/ dh early in the morning. dd and I are planning on watching a chick flick in the morning together (cuddled w/ the dogs on the couch). Maybe dd and I will head into work for a little, maybe not. Probably take out for dinner. Sunday db is coming over to watch the Jets w/ dh. We'll get some 'learning' in there somewhere too (we homeschool).

Nice, easy weekend :)

Laundry and chores tonight when I get home from work.

Tomorrow, we're taking the convertible to Long Beach tomorrow morning to take a helicopter tour of Los Angeles. Wirh any luck, we'll get some shots of the Wonder in San Pedro.

After that, a cruise down the beach for lunch in Balboa Island or lunch with my dad in San Pedro.

Continuing to help my parents move into their new house. We're so excited that they have moved 45 miles "up the bayou" and into our neighborhood.

Pity party. I was supposed to be going on a girl's spa weekend. But dh lost his job last week and I couldn't waste the money. So I'm staying home feeling sorry for myself. And now have 3 parties to go to tomorrow that I would have been able to avoid if I went away.
whine whine whine................

Well, our weekend has started off on a really good note. We finally sold our house in Maine!:thumbsup2:woohoo::yay: We were concerned that the weather might cause the closing to be delayed, but it didn't. IT'S SOLD! That was the final piece of the puzzle to fall into place for us as far as our cross-country move.

Tomorrow we are heading to Florida. We'll be spending most of next week in St. Petersburg, then a few days in Orlando and Boynton Beach.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, and if you're living in New England, please stay safe and warm!

Not to get too mushy here, but please take the time this weekend to let your family members know how much you love them. Here in Tucson, there are daily reminders of the horrible tragedy that took place a few weeks ago. Our hearts still ache with the terrible loss.:sad1: Our prayers and thoughts continue to go out to all affected by the tragedy.

Congratulations on selling your house in Maine!
Have a wonderful trip to Florida!

I was going to post that I'm enjoying my nice quiet evening here with 2 of my 3 kids gone for a sleepover and then read your sweet reminder that I bolded and went from liking the break away to missing them! What a good reminder!

For the rest of the weekend: trying to stay warm, a Girl Scout carnival, trying to stay warm, 2 basketball games, trying to stay warm, and a Boy Scout Eagle Court of Honor. And of course trying to stay warm. :goodvibes

OMG how wonderful that it sold! I have been following your posts since you moved out there. Absolutely fantastic.

As for MOI: I have to drive my DD11 to Italian school, then bloodwork, come home clean house, swing back to get her. We all have lunch (dh is working), then DD11's friend is coming over to sleep :rolleyes1, and then hockey on TV.

IT IS FREEZING here too, with a very high wind chill factor, so probably that is all for tomorrow, and then supper with Inlaws on Sunday:flower3:

taxes, FAFSA, FOOTBALL!

Finfan, my husband is a HUGE Miami fan!

Tomorrow I'm going to have DH move a piece of furniture, I hope to catch up on the never ending laundry (tiny top loading stackabe washer here in our rental), and we have to go grocery shopping.

Sunday- church and then an event that evening at the church. I need to make a side dish. DH will be antsy to get home to watch football!

OK lets see---

Friday (yesterday) I went and got a pedicure and my nails done with my mom, then we went shopping, then to the craft store to find supplies for my dad to make a program for my wedding....then we went to dinner last night with the parents and DB, then came home and watched "say yes to the dress" and "four weddings"..but fell asleep watching it so I will probably watch it on DVR today...

Today (Saturday) DF has to go to a friends house to fix his computer, I am going to my Maid of Honor's house to go over the wedding plans, then I am going to a surprise birthday party for my best friends mom..it is her 55th and she has ovarian cancer, so this is going to be a BIG party!!! Then home to have pizza and watch a movie with my handsome man!!

Sunday- is going to be FOOTBALL all day!!! Then more wedding stuff anf laundry and clean out the guest room in order to put a day bed in there for my FMIL to sleep in when she comes down for the wedding!!!

I forgot to mention somewhere in there I am going to make our ressies for POLY and for the ADR's that we want...
Very busy weekend....so glad I had yesterday off!!!!

Joining a bunch of friends on an evening bus trip up to a casino. The temps will be below zero but I'm sure with the jello shots my sister is bringing along we will all be quite toasty!!!

oh my that sounds so nice.
especially when we have temps in the single digits.

Just spent the morning pulling snow off my roof. The ice dams up there are getting big. Headed back to our Florida home in a week.

First is giving my hardwoods a deep cleaning, and then scrubbing the tiles in the kitchen and bathroom.

I might give our basement bathroom a good scrubbing, too.

Laundry, laundry, laundry.

Need to pay bills.

Then, a LOT of R&R!!!
