when spiders start coming into the house
There was a monster on the bedroom wall two nights ago but luckily DH was around to deal with it. Today while he was at work there was an even bigger one on the kitchen wall. I dragged the hoover in and was just debating whether I could risk leaving it alone until DH got in from work (at least 5 hours) when it leapt off the wall.
I really don't like killing them but once it was running around I really had no choice. I felt so faint afterwards I needed to lie down for a bit!
Tomorrow I'm off to see if any conkers have fallen yet but I think it'll still be too early. Last year we were inundated with spiders and now I'm worrying that this year will be the same. Once I'd filled the house with conkers they stopped coming in - don't know whether that was just coincidence but I'm doing it again this year!

Ugh ! I hate this time of year because of the spiders. I haven't seen any yet (though I will now coz I've said that
), but I have my trusty fly swatters (one upstairs and down) so they can be squished, sorry but if they venture into my house, then they do so at their own peril

Much to my dismay!
