It's soooo cold

Its freezing up here today, when we went to school this morning it was only 6C.

Tomorrow I am going with the school on a trip to the Cairngorms and it is meant to be about 3C but with wind chill its going to be about -3. Think I need to go and look out hats and gloves. It also says that there is going to be sleet showers.

You can tell its October.

It's freezing here too in Rutland. We'll be needing the hats and scarfs too, although we're housebound at the minute! Hopefully we'll be in the Florida sun next week! lol

Luckily its warm here today, as we have no hot water or heating here. we returned back from florida tuesday and the boiler had broken down, hoping the new pump will be here today, as i need a bath
off to mil later to jump in the shower

I'm in the South too but am feeling a bit chilly at the moment. Early morning was cool but the day time has been glorious sunshine. I've not put the heating on but I am wearing a jumper and socks (and other clothes too!) at the moment.

We have had some warm nights too but I knwo its getting colder as I have been wearing my fleece at work which I don't normally do, its usually being used as my blanket when we have a chance to have a nap on station

I went to the Cairngorms in August a few years back and had to put a sweatshirt on. I'm used to weather around 35c in the summer, so a cold day was amazing!
