It's so crowded... dealing with it with humor.

Awww wow good work there! We had a similar problem last year searching for BB8 ears, they had sold out everywhere! We found them eventually. Do you vlog regularly? Do you have a channel?
I do have a channel. We just started a few weeks ago. My kids watch other kids playing on YouTube so we decided to put up our family videos. I am not sure if we will vlog regularly, but we are very active.

Last trip we had a really funny cm on RNRC, he worked in the holding room, and knew the script off by heart so was making it seem as though he was having a conversation with Stephen Tyler. At one point he yelled out "YO! Stephen, how bout some backstage passes?!", and then of corse Stephen very kindly offered us our backstage passes ;) it was all so bad, but we laughed a lot.
Now whenever my partner (called Stephen) looks grumpy after work etc, I just yell at him "YO Stephen!! how bout some backstage passes?!" And we all smile :)

I love it when a CM does the "how about some backstage passes" call out. Last visit when there wasn't one around I did it.

You Hero :) we loved it! I've never heard it before, and it was my daughters first trip and she just thought he was the funniest guy in the world lol.

The cast member did this when we rode RNR. Someone in the crowd yelled out, "We need a car!"

I was at EPCOT on 4/10, HS/AK on 4/11, and MK on 4/13.
Yes crowds were crazy. Yes lines were long. We had ages 2-74 on this trip and everyone still had fun despite a number of unfortunate events :)

Debating whether to go today to MK or wait until tomorrow. Bet it is SO crowded today!
I've always wanted to see the bunnies in person though...

This was a video I did yesterday morning so you can see the crowd level for yourself. It was back to normal compared to earlier in the week. This video was taken at about 12:30 pm right after lunch and the parade. I had an adventure with my oldest girl who just had to have Oswald The Rabbit Ears. The things we do for our children. :)

Great job, Dad!!!

That was sweet! Watching the name being put on, reminded me of when they used to do it by hand. They'd hold the hat under the embroidery machine, and "draw" the name by hand moving the hat. I remember every time I watched as a kid at Disneyland, thinking it was just the coolest thing ever!

I love this!! It's so much better when you can just relax and be positive about the fact you are at WDW and not focus on the negatives. What a fun thing to come up with while waiting in those long lines!

We were in MK on 4/12. It was our last day and we had done everything we needed to the week before. (We also got there at 7am park opening and used our 3 fp.) So it was fun to watch the crowds. In a way I expected it to be worse, I mean I could still walk around. My kids still talk about the 195 min for Space Mountain. "That's 3 hours and 15mins" they keep saying.

On my flight into Orlando the stewardess asked which attraction I was in line for.
That is awesome. I would have

When the cast member asked if we wanted her name on it my first thought was it would take too long. She pointed to the machine and said it would be done in 3 minutes!

Space Mountain was the one we never saw below 30 minutes while we were in the parks. We decided to rope drop MK Saturday and do it first. We had no WAIT!

The crowds on 4-12-2017 (Wed) were insane. By 10 am the wait times for most of the rides were 60+ minutes. The majors were in triple digits. The carousel was a 20 minute wait. Fastpass lines were so long cast members were holding up signs to show where the FP line started. My family deals with these things with humor so we started telling it's so crowded jokes. Here are some of our favorites. My kids are 8 and 6 so think of these from their perspective. Please feel free to share your own.

It's so crowded...
Mickey needed a fastpass to meet Minnie!
Stroller parking for Small World was at EPCOT!
There was a cast member at the TTC holding a sign saying "Line for Splash Mountain starts here!"
fastpasses for Rapunzel's bathroom were sold out by 10am!
When a tour group from Brazil saw the crowds they stopped chanting, turned around, and went home!
The college program kids working the line at Seven Dwarfs Mine Train actually graduated before we got on the ride!
The going rate for a fastpass for Peter Pan was a kidney and an organ to be named later.
A pregnant lady in line for Soarin was able to give birth and then have her kids 1st birthday in the waiting area outside after the ride.
At rope drop the cast members were dressed in riot gear... with Mickey shaped shields!

It is amazing how having running jokes during the day helped deal with the crowds. There were a lot more.
These are great! We may have to start doing this.

EURGH that doesn't sound like a vacation at all!

This is why we don't go to WDW when its crowded. If the crowds were like this all the time, we'd probably stop going.

Back in 1994, we drove over to Six Flags Atlanta. It was packed. After riding two rides in three hours, we gave up and left. Haven't been back since....

That day was a day we did the bibbitty boutique and lunch in the castle. We had fastpasses for meet n greets so for us it wasn't too bad. If you had no fastpasses and showed up at lunch I could see where you would have a rough time.
