why we had to come home? Just returned from WDW on saturday. The trees and the grass were green and flowers were in bloom!!! We returned to snow and alot of it. :guilty: I hate the snow!! So...now I'm wondering what the crowds and weather are like in the last week of November? I'm looking at the calendar and my points and I'm feeling the need to plan! I'm hoping that the crowds are low for the last week of Novemer because I'm a little bit spoiled. The wait times last week were more than 3mins. less that 15mins. Please help with my crowd and weather question...I have WDW withdrawal and I need to remedy it!

I know it is rough. I hate the snow too. I keep saying we should live where it is warm and vacation where it is cold . We have it backwards don't we? :sunny: Weatherwise November is my favorite month. Not to hot and not to cold. Mid 70s to low 80s during the day ... low precipitation. The only time it gets crazy crowded is Thankgiving week. :sunny: Happy planning. It is the only cure for the winter blues.

The key to learning to love snow is to participate in snow sports. That way you'll be excited when you see it. Only once was I not happy to see it upon returning from Disney. That's because it was 11:30 at night and there was a 4 foot high by 4 foot wide solid block of snowplow snow in front of my driveway. I had to flail through the snow to get the right gear and then shovel my way out. My neighbors helpfully took a photo of my home in its pristine condition...I think I would have appreciated a little shoveling more.

I hate the snow/ice/cold as well. I hate the shoveling, snow blowing and constant salting. I hate driving in it. I've had 3 car accidents in my life and all centered around winter weather. I think the only way I'd grow to love it is if I could hibernate all winter.
As for wdw.....we love planning Nov trips. We usually go in the beginning/middle of Nov though. We went the end of November only once and we really lucked out. It was 75 to 83 all week and SUNNY ! We really miss the sun here during the winter. I know it can get colder than this though. The crowds were low except the first weekend of Dec were crowds really picked up.
Have a great time planning your next trip out of the cold.........

Thanks for the responses! I REALLY need to start planning now. Today, 12/14 it was -3 when I woke up. Way too cold for me. And, as far as enjoying the winter by getting involved in winter activities, can't do it. It's just not for me. I can literally see Montage Mountain Ski Resort, yes, the actual slopes, from my home. Does nothing for me! Just praying for spring!!

I hear ya and feel your pain Mary ! I'm not too far from the Pocono Mountains and we woke up to 5 degrees this morning with a wind chill of ZERO. I get no enjoyment out of this. Thinking about and planning my wdw trips is the only way for me to get through the cold, frigid winters. Scary thing is, it's not even actually winter yet :cold:
