It's really windy here today

It is very windy here. This afternoon I was pitting DD in her carseat after gymnastics and the wind blew the door shut on my leg. I now have a nice bruise on my calf to go with the burn on my arm (from the oven last night.)

We are also in a tornado watch until 8pm and have flash flood warnings.

What is the weather like where you live?

It's very windy here too Jenn. We got tons of rain last night and it rained a large portion of the day too. I did see the sun peak out but I think it left again and it's back to being windy and gloomy.

Sorry to hear about your leg, hopefully it heals quickly

Same here. Although the wind has died down some. But it rained ALL day yesterday and ALL night last night, the reason for our flood watches. Tornado warnings too, but I only think until 7.

I am in Western Wisconsin. About 1 1/2 hours from Minneapolis, MN. We pretty much get the same weather as Tamie.

We had a ton of rain last night and this morning also. It quit right before we left for gymnastics. We have had a few showers off and on since then.

Its actually pretty here in Central Mississippi. The sun is out, the wind is blowing a bit and there are a few ""Ivan"" clouds hanging around but its a gorgeous day actually.

In St. Louis it is cloudy; but the sun is breaking through. Bad day for sinuses for me! Stayed indoors for the most part today. I could see a bit of a breeze nothing bad or real strong, though.

Yep windy here. We just had a cold front come thru in the last hour. Humidity dropped bigtime.

Last night we had 4" of rain and counties west of us had l0"

Lots of flooding damage. Forecasters say it is Ivans fault (causing a large air mass to stall).

Tropical storm Jeanne just hit us head on. I would agree with the windy and rain. All I can say is thank God for generators so I least get a couple of hours at a time online. They are saying it could be days till we get the electric back. I am thankful it could have been much worse.

The guys across the street just put their golf clubs in the truck and left. We are having 25mph winds.

Some people are not too smart.

Thanks for the thoughts, Jenn Lynn. I just wanted to jump in and say that little Avery is aDORable!! So cute!

My car is fine, needs a new water pump. The mechanic said the coolant was all gone and I was about to melt down my engine... Thank GOD I had today off and noticed the leak! It could've been so much worse!

I just saw a weather report showing Pensacola getting blown around... YIKES! Watch out, Steven!
