It's only money...right? Right??

So here is the deal....I think I've lost my mind but what else is new.
I had a very stressful week at work...just all kinds of chaos going on. So today, I took a personal day to watch my nephew. Anyway, a friend of mine(we used to be casino hosts together) calls me and says he has put together a 5 night cruise in October to Cozumel and Grand Cayman and asks if me and DP want to go. Without even thinking I say "yes, book it." He then tells me since we are going as casino guests, it will only cost me $200 and we will be staying in a two-bedroom suite on the Norwegian Pearl!!!! Naturally, I'm jumping up and down(and getting odd looks from my nephew) and then I start to think. Well, I'm going to be in Miami so why not get a car and add a Disney trip to the vacation. So what do I do? I get my travel agent on the phone and book Oct. 19-24 at the Beach Club, with dining and MNSSHP on the 23rd. And what the hell, since I'm going to be in Orlando, how can I pass up Halloween Horror Nights at Universal(in case you haven't guessed, I'm a big halloween nut). So I then hit the Universal site and book some tickets for the 21st. DP will probably think I've gone completely insane but he needs the vacation too. I guess I should never take a personal day off again.......look what can happen.
So what do you all think? Am I completely insane or will someone tell me I made some great decisions? It's only money right?

But HECK , you need to take care of your self sometimes and since you are getting a great deal with the cruise , you should feel good about doing the Disney part of the trip.

NCL's Pearl? Oh you are so LUCKY!!! You made a great decision. We've cruised on NCL's Star and Spirit, but hope to cruise on the Jewel and the Pearl too.

We love the freestyle cruisin' and it's really spoiled us for other lines.

Thanks everyone for convincing me I'm not crazy. Of course, DP came home last night and has kindly asked that I stay off of the computer when I am home alone! It's dangerouse what can happen when you get the itch for some Disney!
I'm very excited to hear the comments regarding the Pearl. My friend who asked me to go has been on it a few times and loves it.

By the way, has anyone here ever done the MNSSHP? Just wondering what two 30-something guys will think. Personally, I just really want to see the parade and fireworks......and ride the HM! Also, after going to Universal's Halloween Horror Night two days before I know it will be MUCH tamer!

Much tamer, but still great fun. I love the fireworks and the air is so festive. DD and I have tiara's and shirts that say "Call Me Princess"....
