You need to let us all know as soon as possible what her reaction was. My husband and I are members at Saratoga too. We can't wait to here how it all went. Great gift!!! She is a very lucky person. Good luck and have a great Christmas!!!
I take it your wife does not read these boards - maybe your secret is already out - hope not - have a wonderful Christmas and it is sure to be one that continues each year until you have grandchildren to share it with.
She doesn't read these boards. I have her convinced that dvc just isn't for us. I can keep a secret pretty darn well. Although this one will be hard to beat I've had some pretty good ones.
One year I sold her car to a friend and bought her a new truck. Went and picked it up Christmas eve at 2:00AM and put it in the driveway with a big red ribbon and bow, just like the tv commercials.
Best so far... I had her completely mad at me that we weren't going to Chicago (home) for Christmas and she was mad as H*ll. The real deal was I had her entire family come down and surprise her, they were all in on it. They arrived at 5:00AM and all sat under the tree with bows on their heads. I woke her up and said "Hurry up, come see what santa brought!" She leisurely got out of bed and said "What are you 5?" heh She cried when she saw them all and it made for one of the best Christmas' we've had.
I have to be careful in the presentation for sure. I think what I may do is give her the luggage set with stuff inside. Like put the sheets in the large piece, the fleece throw and Goofey plush in the med. size bag and then put the DVC documents, dvc member bag and framed litho (Thanks Machta!!!!) in the small bag. Still undecided and I'll have to see how the luggage is packaged, it should be here tomorrow.
The order is important, if she see's the litho it's a dead give away. The luggage may set it off too though.... man, it was easier to get the points!
