It's official.....we're going!!!

I've been planning my 2014 trip on hopes and assumptions. But, we just returned from Hilton Head this week and started thinking about next year. We decided that we're officially going September 2014. Now we need to decide on a resort. I've been leaning toward the WL but we haven't decided for sure. We have it narrowed down and we know that we definitely want to stay CL again. We loved the convenience of it last time.

The only real family trip that we've taken there in the last 10 years was to the BCR so that's our point of reference right now. We absolutely loved it and the walk to Epcot was amazing. But, I've heard that the other CL experiences are really great. Here's my breakdown of options so far. The ones not listed are out of our price range or we're not interested.

WL - we love that theme and I've heard their CL is great. I like the proximity to the MK.
BCR - I'm almost sad at the thought of going and not staying here again. We loved it so much. But, I think we want to try others.
AKL - I think it would be amazing to stay here and I would love to see the animals all day long. I have a feeling we would love it. Just worried about being farther from the parks. We go to parks everyday and not sure how convenient it would be.
Poly - this is probably our first choice. DH wants to stay here badly and we would love to be on the monorail. It's just the price that makes me think it won't really be an option. Not sure I can pay that much more than the others.

We have stayed at all of the resorts listed, but have only stayed CL at the WL. The Poly is our favorite resort overall, but we loved our stays at all of them. We love the Poly for its tropical atmosphere, the large spacious rooms, the pool as it backs up to the beach with a distant view of the castle while swimming, and the beach for relaxing in a hammock watching the fireworks .

As far as CL, WL CL is amazing. The food offerings are great, the lounge has plenty of seating that is arranged around the railing that overlooks the lobby, and the CL CMs are awesome. With that said, I have heard nothing but great things about AKL CL and Poly CL. AKL is kind of away from everything, but we found the buses to be fine. Since the buses only go to Kidani and AKL, there is no sharing with any other resort(s). It took maybe 5 extra minutes getting to/from the parks compared to all of the other resorts. If it were me, Poly CL would be my first choice, followed by WL or AKL CL. Good luck deciding, although I'm sure you'll have a great trip no matter which resort you choose .

We stayed at the poly this year for our first onsite trip and we LOVED it!!! our kids loved it so much they keep asking us to go back! I wanted to try CR next trip but kids want the poly again!

I will say being on the monorail was super convenient!!!

WL has no appeal to us at all so I cannot comment on it but if you choose the poly you will love it!!!
