So we have booked were staying 10 days in Orlando at caribe cove 3bdrm and 3 days in Miami . My only problem is car rental rates r so high I would like a mini Van but looks like were going to a car . There is 5 of us 2 adults and 3 teens .
I have bit of a break from hubby company discount but not much on vans. if anyone has suggestions or discount codes that would be great.

I've found that the best pricing on rental cars is available during the two or three weeks before a rental date. And, unlike some other travel costs, car rental pricing tends to move around a lot.

I typically rent a vehicle but keep watching rental pricing to see if I can do better and, when pricing drops, I modify my rental to get the lower price if using the same company or cancel my old rental if I've found a better price through another company.

Look for specials at car rental companies' websites where you'll also find last minute specials for some of the rental companies - though not all car types/sizes are necessarily available through last minute specials. I've found significantly lower pricing by frequently checking the pricing for a reservation that I've made a few months prior to my travel dates.

Try Dollar.com using KISS2 as the discount code. I always book with them and get best rate with that code. I usually book months in advance however. Also check out the discounts thread here at the disboards. Good Luck!
